"Casa San Nicolás may be the best hostal I’ve stayed in along the Camino de Santiago. The owner, Jose, is very hospitable and he and his wife have done a nice job of making the rooms comfortable while retaining the medieval charm of the building. "Carlos welcomed me at Venecia Bed and Breakfast and I felt very comfortable and at home here--this place has a friendly, colorful, and welcoming atmosphere, with an environment containing everything a tired and hungry pilgrim could need: a kitchen to make coffee or tea, with a fridge to store cold things...My room was comfortable and spacious, with a peaceful view of the surrounding mountains. In the morning, a conveniently-packed pilgrim picnic breakfast awaited me, complete with a friendly note. I deeply enjoyed my stay here and would happily return. Thank you Carlos and staff!"
