If you're looking for the Ritz Carlton, this is not the place for you. It is an older unit with normal wear and tear. I did report a couple maintenance issues to the mgt co., but while they that may upset other travelers, they didn't ruin our stay. The unit, while older, was actually very clean. The area was quiet & allowed us easy access to get to wherever we wanted to go. Having assigned parking was an absolute necessity. The back road by the parking is narrow and the 4 parking spots pretty close together, but it worked for us. I wouldn't recommend renting a large SUV though. We LOVED the patio area and hot tub and took advantage of them several times during our stay. Words and pictures cannot adequately describe the waves crashing against the seawall in the afternoon, or the sound of the ocean while sitting in the hot tub in the evening. We hiked, went to a college football game and ate at some amazing restaurants at the recommendation of locals we met during our adventures.

This cute cottage is a few fixes away from 5 stars. The location is fabulous -- a couple units back from the cliffs with a peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the kitchen. The patio shared by 4 units is wonderful for hanging out at sunset and lounging during the day (though it could use an umbrella or two). The whole cottage has been updated and the kitchen has new appliances. It is lacking in a few areas. The biggest issue is that the mattress needs to be replaced. There isn't much space for clothes or suitcases, there aren't many glasses or dishes and there are a couple other minor annoyances. I let the management company know directly. From my experience during my stay, they are quite responsive so I'm hopeful they will address the shortcomings. The 4 units in this cluster are definitely on my "I'd stay here next time" list.
