So Disappointed

The location is not as shown on the approximate map when looking at VRBO properties. We wanted to stay farther north. This location, while right on the ocean, is surrounded by

No heat, fridge problems, broken utensils, poor status on entry

The main problem was that there was NO HEAT in the condo, while SD beach highs were in the 50's. A "tech" came over the first night, couldn't fix it. Another tech came over the next day - couldn't fix it, some part need but probably wouldn't be available during the holidays. There were space heaters, one didn't work, and they supplied one more (8"x8" - not very useful). Cold pretty much all the time.Ice cube maker not functional and the freezer leaked water onto the floorThe can-opener utensil was broken, the bottle/can opener was too weak to punch a hole in a canOn entry, one of the curtains for the main window/doors in the living room was down, couldn't be raised - first tech fixed itSummary - property management should have checked the place out before our arrival - thermostats were in error status, curtain was unworkable, fridge problems, etc.
