The loft is quite different than it looks in the photos. For example, because the windows are mostly covered, the loft is much darker. It is also less clean and less inviting. We were disappointed by many of the loft’s features. For example, the TV in the main living area is not functional. The kitchen is undersupplied. (We had one normal-sized spoon. The bottom section of the dishwasher was missing). Instead of outfitting the shower with soap and shampoo in the available dispenser holders, the manager provides small plastic liquid soap and shampoo bottles. The dining room table is uncomfortable. The lights in the loft are inadequate. On top of this, sound travels throughout the loft easily. You hear everything and everyone everywhere in the loft at all times. The windows are thin. You can literally hear everything going on in the busy street below. (The owner provides earplugs).Other shortcomings include the following:1) Our check-in time was delayed over 90 minutes from 4 PM past 5:30 PM because the loft had yet to be cleaned. We were never offered any compensation.2) Upon entering the loft, the smell of the cleaning solution was extremely strong.3) Instead of installing a door keypad, the owner relies on a single, small key for everyone staying in the loft. If you lose this small key, the owner charges you 300.The manager communicated well, but there were too many issues to even start.
