The property was spacious, updated, and clean. It has a terrific outdoor space. It’s near the water and is in a good walking neighborhood for restaurants, etc.The kitchen could be a little better equipped. There is no cutting board and could have some more dishes and other things for cooking. And I would have liked if they had used unscented laundry products. The sheets were strongly scented and I found that unpleasant. Strangely, the towels did not have that strong scent.

Love this location and security of the property. Good air flow, simple but cute decor. The beds are comfortable.I would absolutely stay at this property again. Only feedback is a toaster in the kitchen would have been great. Also, an outdoor shower to wash the sand off before going upstairs. We tracked sand everywhere but the property has a little vacuum so easily cleaned up.

The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Perfect location. Beach, stores, night life, restaurants etc…Everything was walking distance. Very clean. This property had everything we needed and more.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at this property! The unit had everything we needed for a family of four (two adults, a 3 year old, and 1 year old). The gated courtyard was great for our kids to safely play in, and the location couldn’t be better. Just a 9 min walk to the beach, easy walking to everything else (library, playground, grocery store, etc). The hosts were responsive and helpful throughout our two week stay, and we would absolutely stay again.

Excellent location and amenities

The description is very accurate. The lodging and amenities are all in very good condition and easy to use. It was easy to access the property following the instructions provided. It is very close to the beach and to great restaurants and other attractions. Comfortable beds and couch. Three TVs, all worked great. Very nice fridge, microwave, and stove, plus two kinds of "pod" coffee makers. Communication with the host was quick and efficient. A couple very minor notes: we couldn't find a toaster, which would have been useful. The faucet in the bathroom sink is unique! and a little awkward to use. The kitchen cabinets look great but also were a little awkward.

OB Weekend

The location of the property was just right for the three of us and our dogs. We could be on the beach within minutes, and the dogs had a BLAST at the dog beach. Lots of places nearby to grab a cup of coffee, lunch, or an NFL game, plus we were able to check out Torrey Pines and the downtown LaJolla area. There is a lot of airport noise throughout the day, but it stops in the evening and doesn't start again until after 6 a.m. the next day. It doesn't interrupt your sleep much at all. The towel bar in the bathroom was loose, so it was a startling noise first thing in the morning when it got bumped off the wall. And it would be helpful to know there is no icemaker. The filtered pitchers for water were nice, however. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing trip.

Great Cottage Close to Town and Beach

We had a great time at Singing Sands. The house is a block away from both the beach and downtown. Everything is walkable. The kitchen is well stocked. Perfect for making Thanksgiving dinner!

the security on this unit is awesome. make sure you are ok with steep stairs. there is no diswasher so if you plan to say long, be prepared to do dishes. awesome location and no car needed if you plan to explore local area only.

Great little spot, close to everything

Stayed here for a weekend to visit family living in Ocean Beach. Loved the location. Great little spot perfect for my husband and I and our 14 year old daughter. Loved our time here. Short walk to great restaurants, bars, the beach and shopping.

Lousy organization

The directions to the location were wrong. The entrance is on the alley. The address in the directions is on the street side. Took us 30 minutes to find the entrance. Lucky the neighbors have seen other clients with the same issue. Next the gate code is buried in the parking section. We didn't drive. The gate code needs to be in the check-in directions. Another 30 minutes gone. Next the shower drain should have been resolved before we arrived. You clearly knew you already had a problem. instructions

Great getaway!

The place is close to everything and its also very clean and cozy. The host was very quick at responding and allowed me to check in early. I am coming back on the 15th and would definitely stay here again:)

Great place, cooking utensils could be upgraded the pans were chipped and could be upgraded for minimal $$. The kitchen cabinets were old and not lined so again very simple paint and line the cabinets. I would recommend black out blinds or window coverings, since the parking lot lights are visible through the mini blinds in the bedrooms. Just these few simple things could have made a difference for me. Super close to the beach so very good location

Great little location for the family

It was a great little location for the family. We were super happy to have the ability to bring our pups with us. We felt very comfortable here. The only thing would be to place some blinds in the bedrooms so the sun does not come if first thing in the morning. It helps with sleeping in.

Location Location Location

Sweet in-town location. Close to everything. Walked to beach, morning coffee, and meals. Less than 10-15 minutes from the marina (whale watching), old town (El Agave restaurant) and short highway drive to Balboa Park. I echo concerns about the outdoor stairs to second floor apartment. They are steep and uneven. Would have liked “check out” instructions for linen and garbage collection. Would recommend a toilet paper dispenser in the bathroom Overall, we loved our weekend spot.

Perfect Spot to Spend a Week in OB

Location was great - not too close, not too far from the action and the beach. We loved the space. Three adults stayed here and had two adults and a baby visit each evening. There was plenty of room for all of us to eat, hang out and even dance baby to sleep! The outdoor space was great as well. Parking spot was an extra bonus, as was the great view of the Sea World fireworks. We appreciated that beach chairs and towels were provided. We would definitely stay here again.

Great 2 bedroom in OB

Great little place in the heart of OB. Lots of fun stuff to walk to and quick walk to the beach or pier. The place was exactly as described and easy checkin and out process! Appreciate them getting a pack n play for us.

Fantastic location!

What’s not to love about being two blocks from Ocean beach? This is a great rental very close to the heart of all that is Ocean Beach. You can easily walk to coffee, lunch, dinner, and the beach! There is noise from being this close to the airport but the location makes up for it. We stayed on the second floor so there are steps. There is a private courtyard shared with the other unit but we never saw anyone else. Parking is just outside the courtyard. The host was wonderful-even though we were checking in Christmas Eve and staying through Christmas the response was prompt. Great experience-would stay again!!

Perfect for Our Stay

The property was nearly perfect. There was one thing I would include in the listing to ensure that older people don't rent it who cannot go up stairs with baggage. The only negative -- the hvac unit needs a cleaning. That took away from a perfect score
