What do you expect? It’s a Motel 6. But for what it is, the inside is very clean! Staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean and immaculate. For what I expected, it definitely delivers. I was only a little apprehensive of the homeless around the area, but it seems like that happens around here… so I won’t dock much for that. I wouldn’t wanna park a car outside though… just a bit unnerving.

The reviews are right about this place, dirty, homeless surrounding all areas. They checked me in walked in the room they gave me and I walked in the staff was working on the room went back downstairs to get a new room and clerk and manager are laughing at me super uncomfortable for me. When I came back that night the entire hotel smelled like weed, sheets were dirty. I literally left middle of the night I couldn’t take it anymore.

Booked room for one night stay for an event. Called the day of check in to let them know I would be checking in Late. I received a call to ask when I would arrive. I explained that I left word earlier that morning. She keep asking what time? I I told her after the event was over. After 11:00am. Again, she asked me time? When i arrived, Checked in only to find that room was dirty. The bathroom had hair stuck to door and there was so much dirt caked to the baseboards. There were no clean towels and no remote to work the tv. After getting back into the elevator to retrieve my clean towel(1) not towels, I turn down the sheets and they were stained. To my luck, I brought my own blanket and pillow. I slept on top of the bedding. I was so traumatized that I slept with LIGHTS ON! Just because a hotel may have lower rates, doesn’t mean that cleanliness should be compromised. Standards should be the same across the board.

property was cheap in all aspects. Room was dirty all around and needed maintenance on a number of things. Prostitutes out front along with belligerent screaming locals.

Upon drop off our Uber driver said it’s the worst hotel in San Diego, and for $100 for a bed, he was correct. The tv didn’t even work. There was a fridge with no microwave, and half the lights didn’t even work. When we asked for another room we were told they were fully booked but Expedia still let me go through most the check out process to book a room. I’d highly avoid this place. And there should be a way to get a refund.

We had a non smoking room and it was not to the point i was sick from the smell... i came home having to wash all my things a few times just to get the smell out... requested extra blankets a few times throughout my stay and never got them! Never again at that location

There are many people smoking marijuana hanging around inside, and even if you pay for parking, the parking lot is often occupied by unknown vehicles and there is no way for the staff to do anything.

We got a room, no tv, hair and dirty floors, no towels, i request a towel at the front desk and they only had one and it was stained with blood, shower looked dirty and the shower knob was all loose, overal is a run down hotel, looks poor taken care of, dirty and trash bin full everywhere, quiet but dirty.

My hotel room when I first got there was disgusting it needed to be cleaned & I know it wasn’t clean because there was trash behind the recliner chair. There were finger prints on the cabinets of grease & stains. The nice thing was the front service desk let me be moved to a different room which was way better.

Okay so i have stayed at this motel 6 several times and this last time has been by far the worse experience, within the past year alot has changed, there is new construction in what use to be the other BIGGER parking lot, now its just the small side and there aren't any signs or notices stating that you have to pay $10 per night even tho the front desk said there was, even if you paid for the stay... second there are people dealing drugs right outside the motel, crackheads smoking and yelling at each other. Lastly my room smelled like smoke i paid for a premium non smoking when i let the front desk know she said it was too late to change the room as the cleaners had left for the day mind you i literally went in and out quickly to grab food and let them know, she said she could go spray the room for me but at that point i knew it wasnt going to get rid of the smell...the restroom had stains in the tub not sure blood or whatever, i know motel 6 isnt top notch but dang this one has gotten really bad....

Filthy Rooms, Homeless Location and Sketchy Mgmt!
They assigned us the last remaining room which was a smoking romo on the ground level with a smell of cigarettes and tobacco stains on all the walls. They told us they will comp us for the night if we didn't cancel our multi-day stay. While they did move us to a different room the next day, they completely ignored the first night's experience and then ghosted us. Stay away!

My husband and I usually have no issues with staying at Motel 6 but other than the location, this one was one of the worst places we have stayed. They put us in an extremely small corner room and the room felt dirty. There was brown “stuff” all over the floor and when we called house keeping, we were informed it was not dirt but rather “stains”. The lady demonstrated by scraping her finger on the floor to show us that the brown stuff didn’t come off. There were no blankets on the bed, only sheets. My husband had to go down to the desk to ask for more towells, pillows (they only had 2 flat ones on the bed), and the missing blanket. This is the first hotel we have stayed at that didn’t have any shampoo in the bathroom. When we asked about it, we were told they don’t have any. The bed was mega uncomfortable and both my husband and I had sore backs from sleeping in it. Luckily, we were only staying 2 nights so we sucked it up. The price was right and yes, the location is good for walking around but other than that, there weren’t many positives. The room only had 1 chair in it which is all that would fit, I kid you not. One of us had no place to sit. Oh yeah and there was construction that began early in the morning literally right outside the window. I don’t know how full the place was on those nights but I’m pretty sure that had to be the worst room in the building that they gave us. My husband and I are not picky people whatsoever but we would not stay here again.

They charged me for parking without prior notice, and when the clerk checked me into a room, I found someone already was the in the room. At that point I told them that I wouldn't stay. They refunded one of two nights and the parking.
