Great House-Perfect Bay Location

Great bay front home for a family of 6. We stayed here during the 4th of July week and it was perfect. Drift Vacation Homes was excellent to work with and made us feel like valued guests. We will be staying here again soon and using Drift for sure.

Fantastic beach house for 10

This was a very well stocked house that had everything we needed. The kids loved all the games and puzzles. We quite enjoyed being on the bayside as it was so calm and the lights on the bay at night were beautiful. Great balcony to enjoy your morning coffee while the kids run down to the beach and play!

Perfect Thanksgiving Staycation

Our family had a fantastic Thanksgiving staying at this beautiful condo on the bay! The kitchen is so well stocked that cooking was a dream. All of the televisions worked and the view of the bay is breathtaking. We especially love the deck and watching the sailboats. and paddle boarders. We are San Diego residents and do this every year. We will rebook for next year as this exceeded our expectations.

Great Location and Home

Our stay was more than what we could ask for. This is an amazing house in a great location. It is steps from the bay and steps from the beach. The house was clean and the beds were so comfortable. We enjoyed watching the sunrise every morning. Also the 2 car garage was a major selling point. We would absolutely stay here again.

Amazing family getaway

The view of this mission bay property was Absolutley beautiful ! The back sliding door opens up entirely giving it that open air view from inside the home.

Great condo for little/big groups

Arguably best location we could find steps away from the bay water and a minute walk from the ocean. 180 view with great privacy due to the way the bay walk is shaped. Loaded with all kitchen utensils as well as beach chairs, bikes, sand toys, etc.

Loved our time here

This house has everything needed for a fun, relaxing stay. There’s plenty of room on the main floor, the kitchen is well stocked and the bedrooms are comfortable and roomy. Parking is always a challenge but the garage held our Ford explorer and Hyundai Santa Fe with plenty of room to get the beach gear and bikes out. We plan on coming back!

Exceeded Expectations

Our group of 9 had a wonderful stay at this home. The kitchen was well stocked with quality appliances and cookware, the view was even more beautiful in person, and the bunks were larger than they appeared in person. It was tight, but we were able to keep 2 small SUVs in the garage, and also found a variety of beach toys and a collapsible wagon that the kids really enjoyed. The location just can't be beat! We loved being on the quieter bay side and having easy access to the ocean. Most of our excursions were just a few miles away and took less than 20 minutes to get to. The hosts were attentive, but respected our privacy. Everyone in our group agreed that we would stay here again and recommend this home to anyone looking to travel to San Diego.

Mission Beach Meet Up with Grandkids

Overall, the condo is excellent! The views of the bay (tons of glass) from the kitchen, living room, and deck are fantastic! The kitchen is well appointed and the couch in the living room quite comfortable for a view of the bay or TV. Deck has about ten bar stools good for drinking a glass of wine and watching activity on the bay or on the bike/walking path. (The deck, however, could benefit from a few chairs and a small table.) And the location is perfect imo. The condo is waterfront (bayside) but just 2-3 blocks from the ocean. Easy walking on bay path or ocean “boardwalk”. Grandkids loved the beach by the bay when they came for visits. Would rent this manse again.

A beautiful and comfortable stay

The property is beautiful, comfortable, spacious, and at an excellent location. While the kids enjoyed playing at the beach, the adults can watch them at the balcony, enjoying the shade and the view. We saw many fish jumping out the water and even a sting ray swimming by. It was also nice biking around the bay. The only problem we had was parking. We had one mid-size SUV and one compact SUV. It's too tight for both cars to be parked in the garage, and in the afternoon or weekend, it's very hard to find a street parking in the nearby neighborhood. The neighborhood is at the bay side and is much more peaceful than the ocean side. It's a wonderful place for a family vacation.
