Had a great stay with family. The pool was heaven and I’m glad I requested to have it heated. The home is nicely appointed, clean and the beds were comfy. Jesse our host was easy to work with and very gracious. Would love to return some day.

Jesse was awesome. The property is just like the title says AMAZING! We had a great time. The pool and fire pit were definitely our favorite places to gather. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

Me and my friends enjoyed staying here for TwitchCon San Diego. The outdoor space, pool and other amenities were great place to unwind and relax between excursions into Hillcrest, the zoo and convention center. Ride-sharing was super easy from this location or a short walk to the grocery store and coffee shops nearby. Jesse was a great host, communicated well and accommodated our requests. I would definitely stay here again the next time I come to San Diego!

This is the perfect location! We were within minutes of almost every place we wanted to visit. The house was clean, had a great kitchen, and the backyard was incredible with the pool, grill/eating area, and firepit. I would highly recommwnd staying here.

We loved our stay. The house was a real gem. There was plenty of parking for 3 cars which was a huge plus and the house and kitchen were amazing. I will agree that this rental was one of the best stocked rentals I have ever stayed at which was a huge plus. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and the location is very close to a grocery store and lots of restaurants. My only regret is that I didn’t realize how cool it is in San Diego even in the summer and I didn’t opt to heat the pool so my kids thought it was too cold to swim.

Our family (4 adults + 2 kids) had a wonderful time at this property. We loved the pool / outdoor area. We paid to heat the pool but worth it in November. Bedrooms were comfortable and kitchen was well equipped. Great neighborhood with many restaurants/coffee/grocery stores within 15 minutes walking distance. Check-in time is later than most, but we were driving in from Anaheim so not an issue for us. Only noise came from a few helicopters landing at a nearby hospital. Would definitely recommend!

House was better than described. Very comfortable for a family of four, but could easily accommodate six people. Layout of the house was open and inviting. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a few meals. Keurig had plenty of pods for all of us,Front of the house had a bird fountain that did, in fact, attract a hummingbird among other birds. I don’t do yoga, but imagine the area by the fountain would be a perfectly tranquil place to do so.Weather was overcast much of our stay, so we didn’t use the back area as much as we would have liked, but it’s very spacious and comfortable.Beds were all comfortable, too. The lone TV in the living room was connected to a fantastic sound system, better than the one in our home.What else? Location of the house is also great. Walking distance, if so inclined, to two supermarkets, a CVS and plenty of restaurants. Balboa Park is maybe a 15-minute drive. Communication was prompt and friendly when we had a tiny issue that resolved on its own. Strong recommendation, and can’t wait to stay here again!

Had a great time and the main reason was the central location of the property and the amazing pool and view from the pool area. The property was clean and met all of our needs. The management contact was engaged in responding to our questions and requests. Me and my family, 4 adults and 2 kids had a great stay and a big part of that was the property.

Had a great stay at this home! Super clean and no issues, whatsoever. The views were magical and our kids loved the pool. The pool is pretty deep so, if you have young swimmers, you may want to bring a life jacket. There were plenty of floaties/pool toys. The location was great- close to Balboa park, Fashion Valley, and innumerable restaurants.

Great vacation for me and 3 guys who came out to golf and just hang out. The pool/deck makes this property special with the view, gas fire, and overall size and comfort and the location was tremendous. Would recommend paying extra and heating the pool if you are looking to use that. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a spot to stay in SD!

House, pool, location were great. The house was clean with plenty of room. The pool and deck with the canyon view was a great place to chill. The location was close to the beach, old town, balboa park, and downtown. Also plenty of local restaurants within walking distance. Overall it was a great stay!!

We had a great stay at Hillcrest. The property is clean and comfortable with well equipped kitchen and bedrooms - definitely much more than your average vacation rental. We spent almost all of our time in the pool or on the deck overlooking the canyon. It was incredibly relaxing and brilliantly located for everything San Diego has to offer like the Zoo, Old Town, and Gas Lamp District. We would certainly stay there again.

Our family of 5, with two teenagers and one 10 year old, had a fantastic time in San Diego, and this home served as the perfect landing spot for us. Initially we thought the pool would be used minimally, but the reality was that we were able to pack in a lot of SD experiences, but the times we weren't out meant the kids were in the pool. Outside of the pool, the accommodations had all we needed to make our stay comfortable. We came and went multiple times per day. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We'd definitely stay again.
