This resort was beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. The A/C can be a bit light especially on a hot day but if you embrace the vacation vibes and all Cahal Pech has to offer, you’ll enjoy it!

Beautiful accommodation with a view of the city, warm and helpful staff always ready to assist or offer advice. There are two great pools for cooling off on hot days. The rooms are simply furnished; they lack a wardrobe or dresser for storing clothes—there is only a small rack with a few hangers—and there are no cups or mugs; a fridge would also be a welcome addition. The hotel's location is perfect, just a few steps from the Mayan ruins.

The view was very nice but it felt a bit pricey considering some areas of the facility required repairs. Just little things like chipping concrete and pool tiles. The staff was friendly and helpful but the resort was overpriced in my opinion.

I stay here on every trip to San Ignacio. The cananas are trfurbished, the pool is always refreshing and beautifully lit at night. Their restaurant seeves Belizean style dishes as well as pasta and pizzas. The staff is always friendly and helpful and can arrange any excursions into the area and into Guatemala.

We always love our stay at Cahal Pech.. the staff is 5 stars all around, very attentive. The cabanas are always clean, but could use new mattresses and a/c had a hard time keeping the room cool. But other than that very good, restaurant and pools are an added plus!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. All staff speaks English. The restaurant had great food and wonderful service. Accepts USD or credit card. The room was clean and good A/C. This was a great home base for excursions to Mountain Pine Ridge and Caracol. It was less than a 5 minute walk from the resort to the Cahal Pech Mayan ruins. 10/10 would stay here again. It was also nice that the resort is a bit outside of the town which is quite busy with hustle and bustle of daily life.

Stayed in the cabanas, enjoyed the screened in balcony, great views over town and jungle. Pool and restaurant are fun, good food and drinks, fun vibe. The Cahal Pech ruin next door while small is engaging, lots of rooms and corridors to explore.

Interesting finding how the light system worked with key card. Property beautiful, Food excellent. Low on amenities in the bathroom but that was okay. Just need to be prepared. Will hopefully be able to go back and enjoy the property and the location
