「House is just as the pictures show. Plenty of space and attentive support from the management company. The area was a nice staging point for exploring the southern region. As can happen, the power went out one night for a bit, but they had candles already there so we swam in the pool by candlight, which isn't a bad way to spend an evening.」

「This home is just as beautiful as the pictures. Inside and outside. The sunrises and sunsets are amazing from the inside view or outside in the pool or deck. Rooms were clean. Only thing to be aware of are geckos which are common in the country all around. They sometimes slip in the home and may alarm you but are harmless and disappear. It’s a little challenging to find the property on some gps so we used the wipeout hostel as our guide to the entrance road. Overall great stay!」

「For reference we stayed in Atenas Costa Rica April 14th through April 19th. The house is gorgeous, and the view from the backyard is stunning. 「For our second week in Costa Rica, we chose this home in Atenas. The photos do not do it justice- it is such a wonderful and relaxing retreat. The private pool and outdoor shower allowed a connection no nature. Hammock and hanging chairs, lush landscaping, toucans…. Just too much to mention. We will return to this special place. Lizz did massages on the breezeway our last day to the sound of rain and the birds. Communication was excellent.」

Not only was it a great leap off point to many awesome adventures, it was very comfortable just to relax, listen to birds and waves. 「A great place to relax and enjoy the mountains. Plenty of room to spread out with hammocks out back. Had a BBQ for the family at the pool house and the 3-year-olds really liked the small pool with the fountain. Will stay again on next trip.」
