Beautiful property; excellent service!

We loved our stay at Rancho Majagual!! I traveled with a large group, and we took over the whole property. The beach and surrounding areas were among the most beautiful I've ever been to. Very private and protected, but plenty of other beaches to explore nearby on foot. The property manager and concierge really understood our group's needs, and went out of their way to accommodate us. As is typical for the region, there were a few quirks with plumbing, etc, but that's to be expected. We loved it and would definitely return!

Beautiful beachfront estate for large families that want to relax in privacy

The property manager Claudia and her staff did a wonderful job, their service and attention were very professional. Our group was a total of 16 people including small children and everyone enjoyed their stay. The large property preserves the natural beauty of its location and extends nearly the entire beach. Tourists have acces to the beach via a road that runs alongside the property. Most of the time it feels the beach is all to yourself. The property has a main house with 5 bedrooms that is about 150 meters from the beach, and also has 3 beachfront cabanas with king size bed, private full bathroom, and separated area with full size bed. these cabanas are next to the pool and main dining area. We chose to have a cook make our meals and the quality was good typical local cuisine. The only maintenance related issues we experienced were a short period without running water, issues with a couple of toilets, and one door not closing properly but the staff quickly resolved these problems. This is a great place for a large family or group looking to enjoy nature and privacy. It is very easy to relax and get away from it all. We hope we can return.

Amazing property!

Our group of eight fell in love with the property, the staff, and beautiful Playa Majagual. The service was top-notch, and our three days on the property felt like a dream. From accommodating a late arrival on our first night, to helping us get into town to pick up rental cars and get groceries, the staff went above and beyond during our three week stay. Gerardo, the property manager, was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. The property is stunning, both the grounds and the buildings themselves. We loved the open air poolside palapa for meals and relaxing, both during the day for a reprieve from the sun and at night. We felt extremely safe during our stay with a guard at the perimeter of the property around the clock and a very secure gate at the front entrance. Our only disappointment was that the beach bungalows weren't complete during our stay, because they are absolutely lovely! We did opt for food the first day and while it was delicious and accompanied with amazing service, we felt that the cost was a bit high for the area. We look forward to returning!
