The pictures were definitely generous. It was fine, but the air conditioner was really loud and really cold so it would kick on loudly, and ice the room out basically every few minutes. There was no in between. Also, during a rain storm, we wanted to relax in the room and wait out the storm, but there was really loud construction going on basically right next door. It was impossible to relax. On top of that, basically every night, drunk kids would run down the hallways. Some of the outlets didn’t work and the fixtures were hanging off the wall. We had a “city view” which meant our balcony was over an alley, above a dumpster and we could hear the loud disposal of heavy trash bags being thrown into those dumpsters at night when we weren’t hearing drunk people yelling at each other on neighboring balconies. It just wasn’t what I was expecting for the price. The staff was absolutely lovely and it was very clean, but I wouldn’t stay there again.

The hotel staff was very accommodating to any concerns or needs I had. My television did not work my entire day and my humidifier kept going out. When I made them aware of this issue, they fixed it. My room also had mold in it, and they were able to clean the room. I also found my balcony door very hard to use so I wasn’t able to enjoy that. The location is convenient because there are plenty of restaurants in the surrounding area. Upon your arrival at this hotel, you learn that you have a $25 credit to be used at their on site restaurant. they also are very close to the beach and at that beach you will have access to beach umbrellas and chairs. I love that their pool area was open very early until 11 PM. I found the dinner staff to be very friendly however, the morning and lunch staff were a bit off putting . I attempted to get lunch before the restaurant closed and was told they were no longer operating for service at 1:15 when it closes at 2! It also suggested to sit at the bar rather than a table since I was solo or come back another time. I was definitely charged for a filet mignon and received another steak cut. The other food and my nights I ate dinner there were very good! One of the waiters very friendly ( a bald man) suggested a book store to me in the area that I could visit and always welcomed customers every night with a smile! The morning crew had a young gentleman with a ponytail and glasses he was also very warm and welcoming to customers.

Our check in process was really disorganized. At times, some of the staff members were rude. I really didn’t want to write the review because overall the staff members were really nice and helpful but one in particular not so much. I give that staff member grace too because, it was obvious that the person was having a rough moment. The check-in line was long and full of frustrated patrons. The property itself was okay. The restaurant food was delicious. The location was great and very walkable. Overall, it was a good value.

Our accommodations were located in room 502, and upon arrival, it was evident that the bathroom shower had not been thoroughly cleaned prior to our occupancy, as remnants of old conditioner and soap scum were visible on the shower door. Furthermore, the shower head appeared to have been neglected for an extended period, possibly exceeding a month. The door consistently stuck when attempting to open and close it. The room would greatly benefit from a fresh coat of paint. It is worth noting that Mindy and the other staff members we interacted with were exceptionally friendly. However, the restaurant's pricing was excessive in relation to the menu offerings, although the kitchen staff were very friendly. Overall, I would not consider returning until the hotel undergoes comprehensive updates. Nevertheless, I must reiterate that the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

Lord a lot it was hard to get anything at times. The food downstairs is good the , staff all over the hotel is very nice , but they seem to not be able to please your needs , the issues our safe did not work and never was fixed therefore had to carry valuables everywhere , the bathroom had a leak everyday behind the sink , the room was moist which kept our dry clothes moist due to condensation if you shut off AC for a few moments, the light over bed didn't work , but we didn't complain about that forgot too , remote was not working but was fixed later that night , leak was never fixed even though he came out it still leaked after we asked for our room to be cleaned every day we came back bed was made and every single time don't know why towels , tissue , bath soap was never restocked we had to ask for it and then had to wait or was forgotten and yes sometime we called them and yes they came but sometime took hours or next day to come , lastly I was mad I could not us the hot tub as it was EXTREMLY HOT COULDNT BE USED BY ANYONE AND I LOVE HOT WATER. I mentioned it to 2 staffers 2 different days and they state if they can find a way to make that work they would be a better stay cause i really like the hotel and the area and the staff Yes I will still go back and give them a 2nd chance ooo you get 25 dollar off your meal a day and food its great !!!!

I paid for a junior suite with double beds. The photo looked great. Abita called me that they had an issue with the room but that they would be remunerating me for the inconvenience. I thought the price would be much, much lower. That wasn't the case. They dismissed the $50 fees Abitta charges, but claimed they could do nothing else. Expedia is supposed to correct the total. The room was tiny, hooks for clothing were unreachable for a 5'5' person. The service at the restaurant was abysmal. They never brought my food. My friend and I had to share her pasta and salad. In total, not deserving of a $400 fee.

Ended up in a 1st floor room that reeked of cigarette smoke. The woman at the front desk was very accommodating and gave us another room. The hot water did not work in the room in the morning. Front desk was zero help. Room floors were dirty and they shouldn’t even bother with balconies on the back side looking at an alley way full of trash!
