Great location

Convenient location, close to the best downtown bars. A little loud but our intention was to go out and experience the nightlife in the area. We would stay there again. Very grateful the host offers luggage storage free of charge.

We needed a place to rest for one night and this was perfect! We checked in and walked to the bars around it, and had so much fun! Definitely a place to stay for few if you're looking into enjoying the festivities and surroundings of El Viejo San Juan. I loved it!

The room was perfect for the price I paid, it was only one night that my family and I stayed and it was very clean. The only thing I was not happy with the near by businesses that had loud music late at night.

The property was within walking distance of all the attractions in Old San Juan. The staff is not on site but was very responsive and available through text. The room was nice and clean.

Great central location. Safe area. Nice balcony. Host was kind and responsive. Because it was surrounded by bars it was very loud and the walls are thin so couldn’t sleep the best. Maybe bring earplugs especially if you’re staying on the weekend.

Is my second time staying in this cute place and im happy about it. Walkable and a lot of dining options close to the property. Is my second time in one week and noise was not an issue, they keep you updated with all kind of information for you to be ready for a steady vacation. Small but nice rooms... good for an adventurous person or couple. Highly recommend

We loved the location of Trotamundos. The host was very responsive and clear with their check in/check out instructions. We recommend looking at the photos and reading the descriptions - as stated, the neighborhood is quite a happening scene until at least 1am. Ear plugs are available in the rooms and were much appreciated. Overall, great for our needs.

The place is really good to be honest, just no TV and no kitchen use that bother me. Also, I didn’t like the fact that there was no washing machine there, if they could improve on those the place you be perfect in my view. But overall it was a good place to stay.

Location was excellent; walking distance to historic fort, great restaurants, bars & shopping. Very clean. Very loud at night due to proximity to bars but we knew that when we booked it. Earplugs make it easier to sleep. Great communication with owner, very responsive to questions and provided great local recommendations. Stairs were steep to get to upstairs loft but if able bodied not a problem at all. Would stay again!

Loved our stay here! We stayed 2 nights and walked around the vicinity of the place. They gave us recommendations on places where to eat,drink and chill! It is SO CLOSE to La Factoria which is a good bar with good drinks. At 12mn to 1am it is still noisy but they provided ear plugs and it did worked. there is Cold and hot water and the bathroom smells good. Fridge is cold also the AC. Check out time was 11am but we were still on a tour to El Morro and they happily said we can stay till 1pm. And it made our day and trip better! Would love to stay here again! Thank you!

The staff were very hospitable. This is a unique and authentic Viejo San Juan property. I arrived after midnight on a Thursday after a long cab ride from the airport. There was a party in the streets which slowed my taxis progress. Promptly at 1 or 2 am everything became quiet and I slept soundly in the cozy loft apartment. In the morning the lovely balcony was open and I met my kind host. This isn't the Ritz. If that's your vibe look elsewhere, but if you like an artsy beautiful space and a great experience you’ll be right at home. Great value too!

Great, as advertised

Very old building in the heart of old San Juan. Place was exactly as pictures showed. Clean, well equipped. Super hot water. Had towels, bedding, shampoo and soap. The place was perfect for us. The host was extremely helpful and replied to messages immediately. Self check-in and check-out was very easy. Noisy at night, yes, but we knew that. It was actually entertaining sitting on the balcony watching the bar scene action across the street from us. Would definitely stay here again.

A wise man once said, READ THE DESCRIPTION. This is a basic hotel in a very old building. It is not for everyone. Pros:very clean, great location with lots of dining and drinks options, good air conditioning, communicative host Cons: the neighborhood is very loud. Music late into the night, steep stairs to second floor.

Love this place, is not the actual hotel room but works for what i need. Sleep, shower and comfy room. Small fridge, nice ambient music and air conditioner. No staff in property but the management make sure you receive all the instructions and equipment for your accommodation. Is very close the Sansebastian street and el Toten... A lot of dining and drink options around. Some reviews mentioned the noise, it was not my case but they provide earplugs in case you hear music noise. Love it... I will back today Sunday for 2 more days. Highly recommend
