We arrived in Puerto Rico on September 11th. The host, Arturo, was initially very nice allowing us to do an early check in. He even went to introduce himself to our room, which I thought was very nice. Come September 12th, everything changed. We get up to get ready for our day, and there’s a leak in the bathroom. He says he’ll send someone when we get back to our room later on in the day. We get back, there’s NO water at all. I call and let him know &he says “I’m so sorry this is a city issue but it’ll be resolved by midnight”. I checked with other people staying in the property and no one else had water either. Some people had the concert to get ready for so they showered with water bottles. We left and showered at a family members hotel thinking we’ll have water when we got back. Came back later that night, still no water. We decided okay let’s wait till morning. Wake up Saturday the 13th, still no water. I then call Arturo&inform him I will be transferring to a different hotel to please refund us the remaining days. I texted this information as well. He insists it’s not his fault but will do everything to help us out and refund what he can. He said that it is a city issue therefore he’s not responsible but that he would still refund. He never issued the refund. When I reached out to vrbo, he then declined the refund saying I never informed him I left when I fact did multiple times&have proof. He’s a liar & property is in no condition to be rented if you can’t even shower
