"Great place, even better staff. No hot water though, this is a huge and only complaint. It is to expensive for a place without hot water. The staff was amazing though."

"We stayed here in March of 2025. The owner Al and his staff couldn't have been more helpful. The resort is located in a quiet area at the end of a well paved road. We would stay here again."

"This is a resort with a big heart. We loved the beautiful and quiet grounds, the friendly staff, the comfortable rooms with great views, and the extensive food and drinks menu that never failed to please. Oh, and it has a great pool and WiFi too. On the Wednesday morning of our stay we walked three minutes along the beach to the colourful Malatapay market."

"The property has been around for 40 years. Transfers from seaports and airports were seamless. Check-in was a little chaotic and even had an issue with another guest being checked in before us. No apologies from the staff even though I called it out. Aside from swimming pools, the beach and other amenities; nothing really stood out. The room we stayed in was massive. It does need an upgrade. There’s visible signs of wear and tear. Food is not allowed in the rooms due to ants. However, fruits and soda were offered in the room and fridge. Those also attract ants. Given the nature of the property, there were a lot of mosquitoes, be prepared. Staff around the property were polite to say good morning etc. what we did not like were the staff at the 2 restaurants we ate at. This is where we felt that we were foreigners in our own country. It felt that we owed the staff something even though we paid for the services. It was also evident that teamwork was lacking. We weren’t a demanding bunch but a little hospitality and simple smile would’ve been appreciated. This is not our first island resort, and while this has the best view among all that we visited, the way we were treated by the staff took the beauty away. In our 3 days and 5 visits to the restaurants, only Regina made a difference and knew how to treat her guests. Hope the rest of the staff have the same attitude as her. There is a need for restaurant staff retraining on how to treat their guests."
"Great view and sunset. Public road a bit too rough to get to resort. Recommend at least 2 night stay which was perfect with full day island tour and snorkelling at resort. Fair food prices and nice meals!"
"This was easily one of the most misleading rental experiences my family ever had. The listing made the place look clean, modern and well maintained-but in reality it’s the complete opposite. The photos must have been heavily edited, because when we got to the place it’s disappointing at best. The place was never near the ocean, it was in the mountain, the facility has no transportation available, the road hoing to the rental property in unpaved, uneven and full of small rocks. It was sorrounded by tall grasses that was never taken cared of. There is an out house accross our rental place and next to it is a kitchen.
What made it worse was that the issues were clearly not new, which means the owner/management knowingly allowed guests to book under false expectations. There is nobody on the front desk, and when she arrives she’s wearing a short shorts, and t shirt, only to tell us that if we leave the AC on all day and we left the place, there will be an extra charge. If we lost the key, we will be charged as well. If we break the toilet seat we will be charged for it.
The worst part is, there is no store nearby, there
Is no place to purchase/order food or even buy water or coffee.
The place is not secured, it’s open, no security and at night it’s totally dark, no light posts along the road and if there is one or 2, it can not keep the area will lit.
For the price being charged, this place is absolutely not worth it. It feels like a classic bait-and- switch situation.

"Staff were always helpful, sharing local knowledge. Shame that fish spawning stopped me snorkeling but am very happy that the island are actively protecting the environment.
Breakfasts were always good portions with lots of choices. Resident beast Maui is a great dog even if he did snub my bacon offerings at breakfast. 😊
Good place and I'd recommend."
"The Breakfast was small and unsatisfying. One very small egg a piece of toast and two TINY slices of watermelon. No other choices. The pool was dirty as the filters were not working and the water was a foot low."
"So - overall my stay @ CP was very good - owners/staff Vincent/Jean & fam were great - attentive & attempted to assist wi requests, inquiries, etc. The room was clean, although some minor issue with the shower & the odd time of power/internet going out - hey, it happens in PI. IT was nice to have the breakfast I chose & though their cook was out on holiday, Jean filled in quite well. V/J were interested in improving their facility upon suggesting an improvement/upgrade or 2. I did have one uncomfortable occurrence with one of their children with special needs - this was addressed but should not have hapnd. Overall these are, imho, good & honest filipinos with good standards & seemed to really want their guests to be comfortable staying @ CP."
