"This was a great stay in the heart of Salerno. Quiet rooms with sound proof windows and great air conditioning. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, train station just outside the door, and the ferry port for Amalfi coast destinations is a 5 minute walk. The breakfast is great, staff are helpful, and the rooms clean and comfortable. We hope to return!"

Residence Due Torri

"It is important to note that Residence Due Torri is separate from Hotel Due Torri. The Residence reservation is essentially similar to VRBO. You do not get any room service without an extra price. The location and seaside view is absolutely stunning and totally worth it. The dining options are available at the hotel Due Torri. It is pricey, but fantastic. The fish of the day options are wonderful. For families with young kids, chicken cutlets with fries is not on the menu, but always available."

"Overall the rooms are a little dated and more like a 3-star hotel but the view and location is 5-star so it nets out as a 4-star visit for me. We had two rooms as we are a family of six. Worked well for us- if it was just my wife and I, a nicer hotel would be needed. We had drinks at the pool along with a very tasty sandwich. Also enjoyed drinks at the bar with the amazing view. Took the bus to Amalfi for 1.5 euros and the hotel sells tickets. The station is only 2 blocks from the hotel so very convenient. Figuring out the bus back in Amalfi was not easy. You can book a private van but they sell out so would recommend booking before you go. We also had a car and drove to Sorrento- don’t recommend. It’s a very tight winding 2 lane road with many blind curves. Should have used the ferry from Amalfi but it was an experience I won’t forget!! Had dinner 3 nights in Amalfi- all good. Very laid back town for early July- highly recommend Palazzo Della Mara trattoria. The best meal we had by far. Ravello is a wonderful town that doesn’t feel as touristy as Amalfi and still has more of a town feel that Maiori."
