The host was welcoming and offered us a fixed meal at very reasonable price. Even though we did not arrive until 8pm. The room was warm, clean and comfortable. This hotel is unfortunately in an isolated location not easily accessible from any major roads.
Volveremos
We booked this hotel for our journey to Portugal because we were looking for a hotel that would accept our dog. We were unaware we were arriving on Constitution Day and it was as if the whole village were in the bar enjoying the party. Despite the apparent chaos we were immediately greeted by the owner and shown to our room. This is a rural hotel so does not offer all the facilities found in larger establishments but this is a clean, smart and comfortable hotel. We joined the throng in the bar for a pre-dinner drink and enjoyed a fabulous dinner and wine in the restaurant with our dog by our side at all times. Nothing seemed too much trouble and the stay was excellent value for money. The welcome and care afforded to us by the owner and her son made our stay really special even though for us this was only an overnight stop. In fact we made sure to include this stopover on our return journey and again were not disappointed.

Very basic hotel with nothing else nearby
Stayed here one night en route from Portugal to Spain. Staff were extremely friendly but room was extremely basic. All furniture was tired and worn. Very little storage or cupboard space. Limited parking down a side alley at rear of hotel. Bed was not very comfortable and TV didn't work even though there were numerous controls, two of which were for a DVD player, of which there was none. Also, the bedside table was full of DVDs - most of which were of an adult nature that I found quite offensive ! Nothing else in village so ate in the restaurant and the food was very good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very basic but we weren't charged for it so can't complain.
