Great stay great location beautiful property

We Stayed 8 nights. Everything is as pictured. Host were very responsive. Location was About a 5 minute drive from town if that. Close to town but far enough away that it was a bit more quite.

Twisted Palms

We had an amazing stay at Twisted Palm. We stayed in the Garden Villa and couldn't have asked for more. Mike was a gracious host and was always eager to answer any questions or help with any issues. The pool and beach area were wonderful and we especially enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset from his rooftop area. We wouldn't hesitate on staying here on our next trip to San Pedro, Belize.

Incredible place for our 20th anniversary!

Wow, what a great place to stay. We used Twisted Palms as our base for about 9 days. We could have not asked for a more relaxing place. Our Garden Suite was perfect and we spent many hours in the pool, on the roof, and on the beach. Mike and Laura were wonderful hosts. They gave us our privacy but were always happy to answer questions or simply hang out. We will definitely come back!!!

Best vacation ever!!!

This is a great place to stay. Mike and Laura are such gracious host. They will make any arrangements you need on the island. The location is wonderful. The dive bar right next-door is such an awesome place to hang out and plan your diving trips. The reef is spectacular and hospitality is over-the-top. Another Day In Paradise!

We had a wonderful stay at the Twisted Palm in Ambergris Caye. So nice to stay in a new place with environmentally thoughtful construction. Great location north of the bridge with easy access to all the island has to offer. The ambiance at Twisted Palm was so relaxing and comfortable and the Dive Bar next door was a perfect match. Mike and Laura were so helpful with suggestions regarding restaurants, day trips, and general orientation and planning. They were the ultimate hosts, conscientious in meeting the needs of their guests and genuine in their mission that all enjoy their stay on Isla Bonita!

Nice little condo in good location not too far from town

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The outstanding helpfulness by Mike definitely made a big difference. The condo itself is very small but functional, the AC works very well. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart because it is too far to walk into town (for most people).Be forewarned that golf cart rentals cost $50 /day and up ! During our 4 days there the beach was not usable due to large amounts of seagrass which of cause is just bad luck and not anybody's fault. Activities I would recommend is the Food Tour in downtown SanPedro and taking a trip with the golfcart down to "Secret Beach".

Wonderful Property w/ Great Hosts

My boyfriend and I stayed in the 1br garden unit of Twisted Palm Villas. The location was right next door to a restaurant with great food that we frequented several times during our visit. The villa was clean, comfortable, well air conditioned, and even had a roof top! Upon our arrival we were greeted with a care package from Mike and Laura. They even allowed us to borrow their golf cart the first night that we were there so that we could go into town and get something to eat. Mike and Laura put a lot of thought into this rental and it looks just as nice as the pictures. Mike went out of his way to answer any questions we had about food/activities in Belize. 5 stars all around!!!

Amazing place, even better hosts!

This was my first trip to San Pedro and I could not have asked for a better experience. I found Twisted Palm Villas on HomeAway. Mike was super helpful and friendly from the start. Upon arrival, he arranged for a pickup from the airport and got us lined out with transportation for the remainder of our stay. The condo was very nice, clean, and equipped with everything we needed. The location could not have been better! The rooftop views, the hammocks on the beach, and the pool were the perfect amenities. The condo is right next door to an amazing little bar and a dock that made it easy for excursion pickups. If you get the chance to visit this amazing little town, I highly recommend a stay at Twisted Palm Villas. You won’t be disappointed! I’ll be back for sure.

Stunning Condo in a Perfect Location with Wonderful Hosts!

Everything about this portion of our recent Belize trip was so amazingly smooth and perfect! Mike and Laura are responsive and thoughtful hosts who really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was as we wanted. The snacks, rum, and coffee welcome kit really got us started nicely and was a nice surprise after a long day of travel. The unit we occupied was facing the lovely pool and then the sea just past that. It was one of my favorite views while having a delicious coffee in the morning. The condo was very nicely appointed and decorated in a modern yet local flavor. My overall impression is that the pictures on this site do not do it enough justice. It's new, clean, and modern. It's eco-conscious with inverter style AC units that still get very cold. It had other Eco feature with rain collection and a sistern. I appreciate all the recommendations for local foods and restaurants to try and on what night. Mike set us up with a golf cart rental along with our outbound flights on the local airline to continue our vacation inland. My only complaint is that we didn't stay here longer!! Next time it's a week!!! Thanks for everything!!! My son and I had one of best trips yet and Mike and Laura with their lovely place help to kick it off very nicely!

Transfert à l’arrivée mais personne ne s’occupera de vous au retour si vous ne prenez pas une golf car avec leur partenaire. Strict minimum sur le ménage, plage pas très propre. Pas de baignade possible. Eau chaude difficile à obtenir.

Great Stay at Twisted Palm Villa

We stayed 5 days at Twisted Palm Villa. This was our first trip to Belize and it couldn't have been better. We had a king suite which was luxurious for us backpackers. From checkin to checkout all our needs were met Mike is a fantastic host. He went above and beyond what was expected from arranging our taxi from the airport to our water ferry, golf cart snorkeling and fishing trips. He answered all of our emails in a timely manner. The location is great and it is an easy walk into town if you are in halfway decent shape. The food at the 303 Pier restaurant was very good. We enjoyed our stay and if you are looking for a great place to stay in Belize we highly recommend Mike and Twisted Palm Villa

We really loved Twisted Palms

The property was in an excellent location. Situated on the Caribbean Ocean with a waterfront pool. Also very close to many restaurants, bars and island adventures. It was easy to get into town for provisions or take a cruise to more remote Secret Beach. Mike and Laurie were excellent hosts and it was really nice to enjoy a cocktail on the rooftop with them at sunset. We also enjoyed hanging out next door at Dive Bar. The food and service were top notch! Definitely order some house made Jalepeno Poppers. Hands down best we have ever had. The room was perfect. The welcome gifts were very thoughtful. This is a nice place to stay. Comfortable and clean space too!

Home away from home

Mike and Laura are amazing! Twisted Palms Villas are perfect, close to town, quiet and very comfortable. We've been there twice and plan to go again. It is definitely our home away from home! Thanks for everything Mike and Laura! You were a huge part in making our vacation so wonderful.

Paradise at Twisted Palms

Mike and Laura went above and beyond hosting us. Prior to our arrival they answered any questions we had about what to bring, how to dress, what to expect, etc. Mike arranged the rental of a golf cart for us (bridge pass included), helped us arrange flight times on Maya Air, provided snorkeling sets to borrow, and a collapsible cooler for a full day boat trip (ask him to set you up on a day trip with Loki -- it was phenomenal!). Twisted Palms is idyllic for numerous reasons! The pool is pristine, the beach is quaint with great sand (they work hard to keep the sargassum at bay), and the rooftop patio at sunset is something you’ll dream about until you return. The rooms are nice and spacious with daily housekeeping to keep things tidy. The location, just north of the bridge, was perfect for us. It is very close to some great restaurants and a quick golf cart ride to anywhere else you’d want to go. When we return to San Pedro, we will definitely book our stay at Twisted Palm Villas!

Mike and his wife were gracious hosts... The property consisted of six units four of which looked out over the ocean...we had one that did not but knew that before we booked it... it was a very nice little “apartment” complete with kitchen...very clean. The rooftop is an observation deck with great views where we spent much time...The Dive Bar right next door has really good food but will take a really long time to get your food so be patient... you will need to rent a golf cart to get around the island as it would be a long walk to town... I would definitely go back

Wonderful place to stay!

This place was perfect for our anniversary trip! The property is clean and in a great location, just outside of busy downtown, but close enough to run in to eat, shop, and explore. The rooms are spacious and are cleaned daily. We loved the rooftop and its wonderful views. You could stay here as a landing pad and explore everyday or you could stay on the property your whole trip and have everything you need. There are restaurants within walking distance and a dive shop right next door. To top it off the owners are on sight and are incredibly friendly with lots of knowledge to share about the island. You won't regret booking here!

Wonderful place, I will return!!!

Everything was as expected from the photographs. Very new and clean. I loved the location...close enough to walk to many things but away from the chaos of downtown. Rooftop area gave 360° view and a great place to watch the sunrise or sunset. Pool had both shade and sunshine and comfortable beach chairs. I will definitely return. It was a wonderful relaxing vacation and I wouldn't change a thing.

Great spot, Great owners

Twisted Palm Villas is a great little spot in Belize. It's adjacent to the water, and it's north of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, but not so far north as to make trips into town inconvenient. It's also very close to other places to hang out and eat and drink (Dive Bar, Truck Stop). Dive Bar is connected with Sea Star Diving, with whom I took a snorkeling trip to Mexico Rocks and was very happy with. The rooftop lounge at Twisted Palm Villas is fantastic. I probably could have spent my entire stay sitting up there and not regretted it. Great view of the water, the sunrise (if you're up early enough...i suggest getting up for at least one), and on a clear night, great for star gazing. The owners, Mike and Linda, are super friendly and super accommodating. They will be happy to point you in the right direction if you're looking for any suggestions related to your stay in Belize.

Paradise Found

We had an amazing stay at Twisted Palm Villas! Mike and Laura made things as easy and comfortable as could possibly be, from the time we started looking at the property as a possibility for accommodations, to the time we got back home. Mike made arrangements for taxi transfer from the airport to the water taxi terminal. Made arrangements for our golf cart for the week. The list goes on. The property is very clean and well kept. Very easy access to downtown San Pedro as well as the rest of the island. The beach and barrier reef are right outside the door. Close to several great restaurants. Dive shop is two doors down. We just had a fantastic time, and you better Belize we will be staying here again!
