"It was a pleasure to stay here, thanks Swami! The furnishings are quite sparse but all nicely comfortable and functional, with very good facilities all around in the bathroom and the well-equipped kitchen. It is relaxingly quiet and private, and in a pleasant area. Great location for a visiting academic (as I am), with an easy walk to the university campus, lots of restaurants of all kinds nearby, and BART station. I’d be very happy to stay again on future visits!"

A desk would be very helpful to avoid having to use the small dining table - have to move computer constantly when time to eat. Communication could've been a bit better from owner (felt like I was bothering him if I asked a question). A welcome manual would be nice with instructions. Lighting could be improved from street to unit door - uneven tile...

"A beautiful property in a quiet lovely hillside neighborhood. We were surrounded by mature trees and vibrant spring blooms. The property was built in a very thoughtful and artful way that made the experience extra special. It truly was a little piece of heaven. We hope to come back someday."

"Aside from the nearly constant rain the nearly 4 weeks I spent in the cottage in January were pleasant ones. It’s location is very convenient: a 10 minute walk from the downtown BART station, a 15 minute walk to the University, 2 blocks from a Trader Joe’s and a 20 minute walk to 4th Street and its shops. Its 3 rooms are comparatively large and adequately, if not lavishly, furnished, The kitchen is particularly nice and well equipped. The bathroom, however, lacks a heating vent so during chilly...

"My husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law and their 2 children stayed 1 night on a quick trip to the Bay Area to visit friends. It was difficult to find, defiantly use the link in the listing. The home was clean and has 1 parking place, and was in a great location for our needs. Unfortunately the listing said sleeps 7, and it has a sofa bed and a twin bed in the living room. There was no twin bed, and no bedding for the sofa bed. We had 5 adults and 2 children in our group and there were not...
