Dear Oldie is a carefully decorated apartment that combines different styles and gives a personal touch to every corner. In the neighborhood of Gros, the accommodation includes:

- Master bedroom: with 180 cm bed and bathroom.
- Living-dining room

- Balcony

Dear Oldie apartment is fully equipped and has heating and high-speed wifi. In addition, the price includes a crib and high chair upon request.

It is managed by FeelFree Rentals, complying with the strict quality controls of the brand. It has 24/7 customer service and a physical office 5 minutes walk from the apartment for anything you may need during your stay. It offers the option of parking very close to the apartment, with a supplement and a large variety of personalized activities in San Sebastián and its surroundings.


To keep in mind:
- In one of the most privileged areas of San Sebastián, a stone's throw from La Zurriola beach. During the day, it could be a bit noisy, as the apartment is on a busy street.
- The sofa in the picture has been recently changed to a 150 cm sofa bed.

Lovely new apartment in very convenient location in San Sebastián. Playa de la Zurriola was a few minutes stroll away, tons of shops, restaurants and bars on your doorstep and it was just a short walk across the bridge to the old town for all the tapas bars and sights.The apartment has luxe finishes, is well laid out and surprisingly spacious. We were supplied with an amenity kit with washing detergent, soaps etc. The bathroom is lovely but a bit impractical given there are no counters or cupboards to put your toiletries on.We had a couple of small questions and issues during our stay and contacted the rental agency and they responded immediately and offered to send maintenance staff straight to the apartment. This was a much better experience than we have had at other apartments we’ve stayed in on our 3 weeks in Europe, where at some we never even got a reply.Overall we had a great stay and would recommend this apartment.

Nice apartment with some challenges

The apartment is beautiful and greatly located. It was clean and pleasant. There are few things that needs improvements: 1) communication - After we fully paid we asked to have one person mobile number so we can text and call. Feel Free didn't provide one and insisted on communicating through the VRBO app, which is hard. We didn't meet anyone throughout our stay. Every time we sent a message, someone else replied, sometime not informed of previous communication. We weren't told the recycling procedures or where the garbage bins where (until we asked). Getting into the apartment was done remotely and didn't exactly work as instructed. 2) Air circulation - There is no A/C and the apartment. Living Room faces a major street with much noise. At night we had to close the windows. The bedroom and bathroom while beautiful have windows facing an air shaft and other apartments' windows, so really cannot be used. Luckily it wasn't too hot, so using a fan (provided) was ok. but in hot days it will be hard to sleep. 3) While the apartment is very well equipped, it would be nice to have some basics items like salt, pepper, etc. Also, there is nowhere to put one's toiletries and clothes in the bathroom (we had to bring a dining chair in)

Beautiful space in a perfect area

My wife and our two kids stayed here for 3 nights and had a wondertul time. The place is more spacious that we thiught and exceeded all of our expectations. Great stay!

Lovely apartment

Check in process a little odd as you have to download an app which didn't work for us. Manager extremely accommodating in letting us in, however and very responsive to communications. Lovely place if a bit "cold" feeling. Could use a light on the other side of the sofa as it gets dark at night in room. Also, a small table in bathroom would be great to place toiletries. The space on the sink is limited with various facets, etc so I had to put on floor. Coffee pods would have been lovely. Finally, no AC and Spain is experiencing a drought and warmer temps than normal. (which is only going to get worse.). Fan was a lifesaver but still difficult to sleep. Sorry:( Location great and fun streets and restaurants nearby. We must have been there at very expensive time so this was a splurge for us.

Great vibe

As lovers of all things MCMWe were delighted by the deco and layout of the apartment. “Dear Oldie” Could not be in a better location, getting around on foot was so easy. One of the closest bars quickly became our favorite. I would easily recommend This place for a wonderful stay.

This apartment is designed like a boutique hotel property and is very comfortable in all respects. The only issue is the road noise which prohibits a relaxing afternoon drink on the verandas.

Great Place, Great Location

Very much enjoyed staying at this lovely retro/modern place. The listing photos were accurate, tho I thought the place was better in person. Very stylish decor, comfortable and well appointed. The people at FeelFree were pleasant and accommodating, the apartment was close to the old town and even tho on a busy street, was quiet at night, especially the bedroom which was towards the rear. Would definitely book again.

Excellent experience!

We just completed our stay at Dear Oldie and loved it! The folks at FeelFree made the check-in process completely stress-free and the accommodations were wonderful. On the plus side, Dear Oldie is very conveniently located for first-time visitors to San Sebastian. It’s only a few blocks to any of the best parts of the city, including the historic district and its many great places to eat. Definitely check out the Pintxos Bars! Also, be sure to take advantage of the little coffee shop just down stairs, right next to the front door. Next, visitors should be clear that Dear Oldie is located on the 3rd floor of a building on a busy street; so there will be some traffic noise during the day and early evening if you’re in the living room/kitchen area, especially if you have the windows open. That said, we never experienced any noise problem at night when sleeping. Also, while the apartment does have a washing machine, it does not have a dryer. There is a clothes line accessible through the bedroom window, and a drying rack for your use, but for those who have never used a clothes line before, you might find it a bit of a throwback. Otherwise, the apartment has everything you’d want to ensure a delightful stay in San Sebastian, including a very well stocked kitchen and reasonably fast, free internet access. Definitely a very good value, especially when compared to nicer hotels in San Sebastian. We definitely plan to return to this lovely city and hopefully Dear Oldie will be available for our use when we do. Spencer & Susan Cosper Mclean, VA USA

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in zentrumsnaher Lage

Das Apartment hat unsere Erwartungen voll erfüllt. Es liegt an einer viel befahrenen Straße und daher sollte man sich auf etwas Lärm im Wohnzimmer einstellen. Der Schlafbereich ist jedoch vollkommen ruhig. Der Kontakt zur Agentur hat uns nicht besonders gefallen. Eine Buchungsbestätigung erhielen wir erst Tage nach der Buchung auf unsere Anfrage hin. Dafür erhielten wir zwei Bestätigung mit jeweils falschen Rechnungsberägen. Die schriftliche Bitte um eine korrekte Buchungsbestätigung blieb erfolglos, genauso der Versuch die Kontaktadresse in San Sebastian zu erfahren. Letztlich lief alles über das Telefon und hat dann doch funktioniert. Die Agentur sollte bitte an ihren Abläufen arbeiten.
