"We had our dates mixed up and landed there a day early.Since we had international bookings we asked the manager on duty of he could adjust the dates since there was availability.They were not co operative and we ended up spending a huge amount for 2 really bad rooms since we didnt want to go searching for accomodation duing the busy Diwali vacation. The rooms and toilet were dirty, neglected and in a really bad shape.Considering what they charge for these rooms I'm surprised people are willing...

When we arrived at the hotel there were 3 large group check-in ..but they handed our room keys to us and said they could complete all formalities after the crowd dispersed. "The Hampi Hotel has good and bad levels of service. The good, great for the railway station and Hampi historical sites. Good restaurant especially for evening meal (maitre d'hotel) as good as anywhere we have been. The breakfast could have been better only a limited choice. "Overall disappointed. Booked a room thru Expedia with two double beds but what we got was one with one double bed and extra mattress. Not clean, plastic glass, no toilet rolls, ok service, no restaurant, many things not working and were not attended to in spite of reminders. The only saving grace was that this place was in the heart of Hospete town with many options around for dining. "
