"Enjoyed our stay here, very clean and everything is new. It feels like a modern, private studio away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas. It was very nice having all sorts of utilities for the kitchen, such as a coffeemaker, small stove, and kettle. Like another reviewer said, there is no dishwasher, but washing dishes was easy enough — but it could use a dish rack. Definitely would need a car to reach here and to get around the general area. The area is clearly not tourist...

"We loved waking up every morning and watching the sunrise from the lanai, watching the birds over in the zoo park and seeing the ocean. Being on the 3rd floor made it super easy to come and go frequently by using the stairs (we averaged 15 flights/day) and it only took approximately 2 minutes to get to our favorite spot on the beach. Check in was super easy and all the staff were very friendly. Communication with the host was quick and detailed. The only surprise was that there was a night club...

"This was our second time staying at the Aston Waikiki Sunset. Our first time was great. This time we had my handicapped mother. We called the hotel beforehand to request a toilet seat extender and a shower chair. It took one and a half days for them to bring these items after I called housekeeping and the front desk repeatedly. They seemed not to care. We will not be staying here again."
