“Very nice B&B. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The building is historical; however, was under good care. The room is pretty and clean, except that the sheets cause allergies. After we ask the staff to change the sheets, everything is fine. The breakfast is simple, and the staff cooks eggs and pancakes onsite. Lots of parking lots around, and are all free. The location of MVI is not at Waikiki and is very quiet in the neighborhood. Thus suits for those who drive themselves travelling……

“One of the very best locations on the entire island. Photos do NOT do this location justice. Absolutely unbelievable location! The property itself is good enough, a vintage mid-century modern home from 1965–quite charming indeed. I prefer an actual air conditioner during sleep time, which was the only negative, and I prefer much softer, fluffier pillows. Plan on 76-82 degrees (f) inside. Nevertheless, happy to cool off in the ocean, with the sandy beach—no reef, no traffic, no drama. ……

“We loved staying there. Everything that you could imagine was available and many extras were included. Janice was always available and accomodating. The beach is farther away than we expected, although if you got out early, there was plenty of parking for beautiful beaches.”

“I checked in late after arriving into HNL at 7:30pm HST. Immediately felt comfortable - gated property, private entrance, obviously remodeled with new kitchen appliances, beatiful full bathroom w zero-entry shower (no basin or lip to step over). Fab breakfast in the am. Super comfy bed. Kitchen has just what you need. Easy to reheat leftovers; plenty of counter space for food, etc. Lovely spot outdoors for relaxing - loveseat and coffee table - fell asleep out there one evening! Great location……

“Das Rainbow Inn ist ein toller Platz um Honolulu und Oahu zu erkunden.Der Blick über die Landschaft und Pearl Harbour ist jedesmal wieder wunderschön und wir können das Rainbow Inn nur wärmstens empfehlen.Vicky und Grant sind sehr nette Gastgeber.Der Pool ist traumhaft und die Wohnung hat alles was man für den Urlaub braucht.Vielen herzlichen Dank für eine wunderschöne Woche im Rainbow Inn.”
