“Stayed here a few time and always found the owner friendly polite and helpful ,doesn't do evening meals but you just walk to the quay and it takes 3minutes and you have the restaurants pubs. The breakfasts are large you would not starve .

“Booked for a 1-night stay for work. Great welcome and shown to room (in room 3). Lovely room, good TV and wifi. Bed was very comfortable, ensuite was great and heated. Own thermostat in room. Small desk to work at (if required). Nice touch of being able to get fresh milk for tea and coffee in lobby just before going into room, as well as bottled water. “Recently refurbished so that was nice . We thought all the staff were really friendly and professional to both humans and dogs . It was nice that the team at the hotel all pulled together , conversed with the guests and looked good in their uniforms. We have no qualms about saying Book ! you will love it - its a very welcoming place in the middle of the forest.

“The owner and staff were incredibly lovely and accommodating, especially as we needed an early check-in to prepare for our wedding that day. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless for us.
The stunning interior decor and the delicious breakfast truly added to our special day. Being just down the road from our wedding venue in Sopley, it was the perfect location. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding day so perfect!”

“Lively, friendly pub with rooms around the corner from the main High St. Clean and tidy rooms. Good value. Limited parking when busy. As with rooms above pubs it is quite noisy but pretty well sound insulated and the pub closes relatively early. Staff were pleasant, helpful yet unintrusive.
The room we had did not have main lighting so was very dark even with the side lights on and if you opened the blinds people on the street could see in - especially from the flat across the road. A net……
