Welcome to The Hancock! A charming 4 season 1940’s Colonial Style home in an established neighborhood, just 5 blocks from the waterfront and a quaint downtown with restaurants and shopping. Close proximity to Cedar Point (4 miles) and Kalahari Resorts & Conventions (6 miles). A Private Getaway for you and your family to enjoy the theme parks and idyllic shores of Lake Erie and all it has to offer! This multi-unit home has 3 1 bedroom furnished apartments with kitchen, private bathroom and washer and dryer and parking on site. All units have individual temperature controls. Great for singles, couples and families, or multi families in the same home! We are open to short or long term rentals based on availability.

There was not a description that the second bed was an air mattress. The mattress kept deflating and we had to blow it up every hour. Also, the bedding for the “spare bed” blow up mattress smelled awful- like soiled bedding from a pet, so my in laws had to use blankets that they brought in their car, which luckily they brought. The AC unit did not sufficiently cool the space. Also, the door for the laundry room was broken- it took several attempts to unlock and then would not lock once we finally got it unlocked. This left us feeling unsafe. Over all a rough night with little sleep and comfort. This was our first experience with Vrbo and we were very disappointed and are weary about future bookings.

Quaint house within walking distance of downtown

We didn’t check in until about 6:30pm so the code to access the unit timed out and we couldn’t get in. However, I called Stephaine was very responsive when we called and she quickly gave us a new code. No issues after that. The rest of the space was clean and peaceful at night.

Park and Play

The house was clean and perfect for what we needed. We used to to sleep we had a very busy agenda it was nice to come back to a place that was clean and good location for cedar point and the jet express to the islands. I recommend you bring a hair dryer we did not see any at the unit.
