“We were lucky enough to spend 3 days in this peaceful paradise. The apartment is situated on the hills overlooking Tyrell Bay and is in walking distance to several restaurants. It was lovely to watch sailing boats enter the bay while we drank our morning coffee. Peaceful and quiet. It is located on a steep road, but we walked it several times, even though our host Dave or Alyessa would have picked us up, and there were taxis as well. “Moira was a good communicator through WhatsApp. The sunsets were stunning and you could see the sail boats at Sandy Island. Mid day gets hot with no AC so we went to the beach and did exploring in the afternoons. Sleeping was comfortable enough under the ceiling fan.”

“Situated in the hills about 20 minutes away from airport, Tyrell bay dock (ferry from Grenada) and Paradise beach. Quiet location, nicely maintained garden, overlooking the tropical vegetation around the house. Nice view from the balconies over to hills to the sea. We had the standard appartment. One room with kitchen, table and sofa and TV (better not to watch TV but to be on the terrace and enjoying the view and listening to the birds !!) Two bedrooms with baths. No AC, but ceiling fans.……

“Wir waren begeistert und werden wiederkommen! Die Chatham Bay ist eine ca. 2km lange Bucht auf der windgeschützten Seite von Union Island. Die Anreise ist nur per Fähre und dann per Wassertaxi (ca. 20 min) möglich. Oder als Segler. Es gibt keine regelmäßigen Flüge nach Union Island. Die Bucht hat durchgehenden Sandstrand, der nach ca. 10m über eine kleinere Felskante in tieferes Wasser übergeht. Durch diese Felskante ist die gesamte Bucht ein Schnorchelparadies. Am nördlichen Ende der Bucht……

“Hillsborough is a bit of a shanty town..all the action seems to be in Tyrell Bay now,but Jonas and his people do a great job in my view anyway. Light breakfast and good local menu at night including fresh seafood with a little Japanese local interpretation was very nice...no beach out the front...but I enjoyed my stay here..Thanks Jonas.. ”
