"The residence itself was fantastic. We could not fault the apartment or the swimming pool area which was great - the pool was a good size and everything was very clean. Two negatives - firstly if you could move it about 2km towards the town of Sant’Agata di Militello then you could easily reach the bars and restaurants. "Die Lage ist sehr gut, besonders der Meerblick von der großen Terrasse. Die Wohnung würde ich trotzdem nicht noch einmal mieten. Das Haus ist ungepflegt und renovierungsbedürftig. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung mit alten Möbeln hat auf den 1. Blick Charme, aber es ist vieles kaputt und nicht funktional. Das Bett ist eine Katastrophe, ein altes wackeliges Gestell mi einer durchhängenden Matratze."

In realtà la stanza non aveva l'angolo cottura e l'ho scoperto solo perché ho contattato la struttura dopo aver fatto il pagamento. Arrivata sul posto in stanza l'aria condizionata era guasta e solo dopo qualche lamentela mi hanno portato un pinguino.

"The villa Collina dei Nebrodi is amazing . Wonderful views from the top to cities and ocean. The host, Claudia, is extremely kind and helpful.
Our family of 17 in all ages had the best time ever. Every morning a great breakfast was prepared for us and the kitchen was excellent to prepare our meals. Large rooms with baths for all and a splendid pool. We really recommend this place."

"The house has the most magnificent view over olive and lemon trees towards the sea - with the chance to see the Aeolian Islands in clear weather. "We, a family with freinds, had a fantastic stay in the amazing Villa Lara in Tortorici, Sicily.
The house is spacious, beautiful and esthetic and located in a calm place with a feeling of being part of the real Sicily.
The pool and the jacuzzi helped during the hottest days and they both worked without any problems.

"We did NOT stay here as it was disgusting. There was no toilet seat in the ladies toilet. The pool was green & you definitely wouldn’t have risked going in it. There was 1 member of staff serving drink but the owner/receptionist wasn’t even available. In talking to other guests (bless them! They were stuck there for a week!) there was no hot foot available & it’s a very long walk back up (very very steep!!) into town for food. Until the owner is prepared to spend some time/money on this property I would avoid like the plague. The whole road leading to the hotel was under construction also that we hadn’t been warned about so had to abandon our car and drag our cases along an unmade road. The list goes on…. I am just glad we were only booked in for 1 night as they wouldn’t cancel our booking either."

"We had a 14 night stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Carmelo is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Tina the cleaning lady bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and that your room is clean, refreshed, well stocked with
fresh towels, linens, etc. All staff are great .
Breakfast is included alrhough if your looking to start your day off with proteins, you will be disappointed. Breakfast consits of croissants in assorted varieties, cakes, cookies, there is sliced bread and a toaster, assortment of jams, and spreads, fruit is limited, there are hard boiled eggs, the coffee is very dissapointing as its not freshly brewed but through a machine that uses k-cups ..the breakfast was the same day in day out.
The orher thing is the hotel does not have assigned or designated parking for their guests. So we arrive back at the end of your day you might find yourself driving around the block a few times before you land a parking spot close to the hotels entrance.
The door to the hotel is at times a challenge to unlock..not an easy task. There are also 4 flights of stairs to do to get to your room.
The hotel is in a great location, many gelaterias, bars, amenities close by.
The hotel always smelled lovely, and fresh, having AC was a blessing. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend Hotel Marconi."
