「This was a great choice for me and my family. We had a great stay. The staff was nice but they could have been more warm and friendly. The rooms themselves were clean and maintained well. I like that it was like an apartment (it had a fridge, microwave, stove top, sink, and plates/cups). The breakfast was good. The location was great for us because we were able to walk to the mall that's nearby and it was a short drive to downtown San Jose.」

「Nice hotel, it was worth more than I paid. Stores and restaurants are around this hotel, and you can go to San Pedro Mall on foot, and city central by taxi for 10 mins. It’s quiet usually around it. Mr. Mark, owner of the hotel, turn off the light at 10pm everyday, so you can sleep comfortably. You can get many services there, i.e. nice pancakes for breakfast (surprisingly free), laundry services, and others. And don’t forget this: everyday he sends us off at hotel with warm “PURA VIDA”.」

The amenities were particularly notable, because the hotel is attached to a local country club so there's an Olympic pool with a waterslide, a second pool, a great hot tub, a very good gym, a poolside bar and lounging area, even a tennis court. Hotel Suerre provides a reasonably priced stopover point in an industrial town for those traveling between tourist destinations.」

「We booked 1 room for 3 people and they charged us for 3 rooms and refused to give us a refund for 2 rooms. Bugs came out of the AC when we turned in on. Breakfast was beans, rice and egg with water down coffee. Not a good experience.」
