Perfect view

Spacious and well maintaint apartment with wonderfull view on the village and the see. Nice to watch the airplans landing. You can hear the traffic from the motorway a bit, but there´s not much traffic at night. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed. You can walk down to the village where there are a coulple of very nice little restaurants. It´s a bit steep but good training to go back up. José is a reliable and very friendly person and took quite good care for us. Communication during booking was easy. Thank you very much!

The property is very clean and well equipped. Jose and Fatima were excellent hosts.

We enjoyed our stay very much indeed. We chose not to hire a car and the walk from Santa Cruz village to the property is very very steep. We did the walk sometimes twice a day so that we could eat in the town and also swim in the sea and lido, however in the heat of the day it was really a very hard climb! Having said that there were plenty of taxis available in Santa Cruz and the price was very reasonable. The house is very comfortable with WONDERFUL views, at times the noise from the aeroplanes was a problem (6.00am!) but on the other hand during the day we enjoyed watching the planes. At night time it was sometimes too hot, the accommodation would have benefitted from fans in the bedrooms. The balcony was a beautiful place to sit. T This is a magnificently appointed house which was very well equipped and perfect for us - 2 adults with 2 older teenage daughters, I would very much recommend the property.

Schöne Wohnung mit tollem Ausblick

Die Wohnung ist schön gelegen und hat einen fantastischen Ausblick auf den Flughafen FNC. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet und es gibt eine Waschmaschine. Einzige kritikpunkte: Wir fanden die Betten etwas hart und es war nachts recht kühl, da daß Haus keine Heizung hat. Dem wurde aber mit einer Elektroheizung Abhilfe geschafft. Sehr sehr nette Vermieter!

Sehr schönes Haus mit wunderbarer Dachterrasse, Freude an der Luftfahrt vom Vorteil :-)

Das Haus ist sehr schön und geräumig. Es liegt am Hang über Santa Cruz. Die Küche hat nahezu alles was man braucht. Davor ist eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Blick auf Santa Cruz, den Atlantik und einem Teil des spektakulären Flughafens. Die Anzahl an Flugbewegungen hält sich in Grenzen, aber startende Flugzeuge sind für ein paar wenige Sekunden sehr laut. Dafür ist es sehr beeindruckend, die landenden (recht leisen) Flugzeuge zu sehen. Meine 2 Söhne haben gerne fasziniert zugeschaut. Für Jemanden der absolute Ruhe haben möchte, kann ich das Haus allerdings nicht empfehlen. Die Lage des Hauses ist auch sehr schön. Vom Flughafen sind es 5 Minuten, nach Funchal 15 Minuten. Nach Santa Cruz kann man in 15 Minuten runter laufen, wobei man dabei sehr viele Höhenmeter runter geht bzw. auf dem Rückweg wieder hoch. Fatima und José sind sehr herzlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Vielen Dank!

Trés bon accueil de Fatima et José. Cependant, il s'agit bien d'une location d'appartement et non pas de la maison complète. L'environnement est assez bruyant (dépend vu vent) mais reste supportable.

Eine sehr schöne Zeit

Wir hatten die Wohnung für eine Woche im Februar 2016 gemietet. Bereits der erste Kontakt per E-Mail war sehr freundlich und unsere Fragen wurden schnell und umfassend beantwortet. Der Empfang vor Ort durch Fatima und Andy war sehr herzlich. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und verfügte über alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub benötigt. Zwischendurch wurde zweimal nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist und am Tag vor der Abreise wurden wir persönlich verabschiedet (wir sind sehr früh abgereist, daher schon am Tag vorher). Ohne Nachfrage wurden uns am 2. Tag drei Heizöfchen gebracht, da wir leider eine sehr kühle Woche auf Madeira erwischt hatten. Kurzum: Super Service! Die Fahrt zur Wohnung ist etwas abenteuerlich, wenn man das platte Land gewohnt ist, da sie in den Bergen von Santa Cruz liegt und die Straßen sehr steil und teilweise eng sind. Dafür entschädigt jedoch der Ausblick. Der in der Nähe liegende Flughafen störte uns überhaupt nicht, im Gegenteil, es war mal ganz interessant die Flugzeuge aus einer solchen Sicht beobachten zu können. Wir hatten trotz des unbeständigen Wetters eine sehr schöne Zeit auf Madeira, insbesondere in disem schönen Appartment. Vielen Dank dafür von Silke, Silke und Simone (den drei Mädels aus Deutschland)!!!

Best holidays ever

We had a lovely time in this beautiful and comfortable apartment. The panoramic view is amazing and we didn’t want to leave our “eagles nest” in the end. First we were a little bit concerned of a possible noise problem as you can see the airport from the house but it was no problem at all, during the night they don’t fly and during the day it was like a number one attraction for us to watch the landing and departing planes from the great terrace. Apart from the view we loved that the apartment was so super clean and well appointed with good kitchen stuff, TV with international programs and comfortable furniture, so that you have everything there in case of a rainy day. Also the village of Santa Cruz is very charming and easy to reach by foot from the house, just following the small walkway right beside the house. When it comes to dinner we can recommend the restaurant O Professor right in Santa Cruz, we had a lovely time there by sitting outside, chatting with the nice waiter and enjoying great fish dishes. But there is still one thing which made great holidays to the best holidays ever: THE OWNERS of this place ! They were so super nice and treated us like friends that it was very hard to say goodbye but we promise to come back asap. Um beijo, Maike and Jens from Germany

Un grand grand merci à Fatima pour sa gentillesse et son accueil. La définition même de l'hospitalité ! La maison et la terrasse sont absolument fabuleux. Vue incroyable, terrasse sur 360°, calme, bien placé. Nous recommandons 100% aux autres voyageurs tant notre séjour était parfait !! : )

Très chaleureux accueil et location formidable

Un très chaleureux accueil des propriétaires (Fatima et Alex) qui sont venus nous chercher à l'aéroport (malgré l'heure très tardive) et nous accompagner vers notre location. Tous les ingrédients de notre premier petit déjeuner étaient prévus. Ils ont été très attentifs à notre bien être pendant notre séjour et nous ont renseigné sur les activités de l'île. Maison très confortable avec une très très belle vue (sur 180°) sur la baie de Santa Cruz. Le linge et la maison étaient respectivement très propres et très bien entretenus. Propreté irréprochable. Nous conseillons donc très fortement cette location. Claire et Thierry.

De très agréables vacances à Santa Cruz/madeire Villa tres agréable avec une vue magnifique sur Santa Cruz et l'océan depuis la terrasse Le logement est spacieux et tres confortable avec les 2 salle de bain ce qui est très intéressant lorsque l'on est 4 . De nombreuses commodités tres appréciables ( congélateur , micro onde , grille vain , sèche cheveu.....) Fatima et Alex les propriétaires sont des personnes charmantes , tres accueillantes avec de nombreuses attentions à notre égard Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir
