Very good

This property was in great condition and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, and everything you might need. The location can't be beat. It is just a short walk of maybe 100 yards to get to the beach. We had a great time and will definitely be looking to come back.
The cleanliness could have been a little better upon arrival but nothing that was too bad. The location and amenities of this property are absolutely perfect. Walking distance to great food, great beaches, farmers market and some shopping. Great views from the multiple decks and the hot tub was a great way to wind down. It was a perfect place to just relax, listen to the waves and unwind. Can’t wait to get back there.
Excellent beach location - minor updates could be very helpful
The location of this property is hard to beat. You are a few houses down from the stairs down to the beach. The beach is relatively private and less busy than the nearby state beach and is absolutely gorgeous. The rooftop hot tub was lovely and enjoyed by all as well.
The parking in the back of the house is very convenient and comfortably fit three cars. The kitchen was well-equipped and allowed us to do all of our meals with our group of 10 people together.
The cleanliness could have been improved, the counters in the bathrooms and kitchen did not seem to be wiped down prior to arrival and needed some attention.
Updated bedding would do a world of good as well.
Overall a great stay as the location is wonderful, some minor tweaks would make this property 5 stars.
This house is in need of serious repair. Some of the rooms smelled funky. Some windows would not open or once opened would not close. There was construction in process while we stayed.
The company which manages this rental were very helpful and had wonderful communication.
For the price of the house, I expected something nicer. Great location!
We rented the property because we were evacuated from Scotts Valley because of the fire threat. The owners who seem to do the cleaning, were late getting the property ready which is OK, but when we arrived they did not want to leave, and seemed to show up daily. The have cameras on the outside of the front door and inside the back room. that covers the kids bunkbeds, creepy.
The master bathroom does not have curtains on the window and the window hinge is broken, because we were not the first to hang a towel to try and cover it. The dryer vent is completely blocked making the washer dryer almost useless. The house has lots of deferred maintenance, but it was a good home in the storm. We have been allowed to go home, but our friends will still be there through 9/2. Just keep the owners away please.

Great location, good updated bathrooms, good kitchen supplies for Thanksgiving, nice hot tub
I've sent property management company listing of issues/challenges with this house. A few simple updates/changes could make this a great rental. Property management company is very responsive & took care of some issues.
House was great except we were told parking was free on the street and then all 4 cars got parking tickets. We would have parked elsewhere had we not been told street parking was fine.
Great spot and fantatsic home!!! We loved our stay, great time!!
The property management company was on the ball and all our needs were met. We lived the home and had a great time!!

Lighthouse not so light
Hot tub dirty water, afraid to use. And did not. May have been chlorine safe but cloudy and totally revolting. Windows filthy, bird poop and dirt obscured what limited view there was.
1970s Dated home, never felt clean especially the bathrooms. House didn’t smell clean. Dust everywhere especially in carpeted bedrooms. Dust bunnies under night stands and around beds. Just wasn’t as advertised. Location great, rental agency easy to work with. But they need to do more homework with the properties they rent...But no, not renting this house again nor can I recommend. And I wouldn’t use this rental agency because they advertised this home.

WE ISLANDERS HAD AN ABSOLUTE BLAST!!!
The Lighthouse is amazing. It is MORE than 22 steps to the beach but hey, whatever.. we had an absolute blast. We celebrated my nephew's wedding, July birthdays and sent my niece and her girlfriend on their way to their doctorates in D.C. and NC! OMGoodness the Lighthouse was the break we all needed. The greatness: 1- the hot tub on the roof! 2 - the nook that sleeps 2! 3 - the entire 2nd floor - kitchen area with balcony, living room, bedroom with balcony.. this was the family area and we spent a great deal here. 4 - the bunk beds and the 2 bed rooms on the 1st floor. There is loads of room in this house!!! 5 - The beach is awesome and is also a dog beach!!! I had both my dogs and my cat on this trip. They loved the house! Yes they did! There are also outside faucets and shower oh and a total plus. You can actually park 4 full size vehicles in the back. Front parking is 1st come and then put the parking plaque in it. People do not respect front yard parking for sure!
Okay, while I did give 5 Stars for my review, it did have flaws. Major flaw: Access to both the shower areas. My mom is an 80 year old shorty and at
4ft 11in (tall lol!), she was not a happy camper having to be helped in/out of the shower. Major flaw: Lack of curtains. While it is tourist area, locals and tourists are creepy all the same especially at night walking up and down the street. Please put up curtains. Other than that.. 5 STARS!!!

Great location, comfortable beds, needs a few updates
Overall a wonderful location with easy access to beach, cliff drive running and biking, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Plentiful amenities like towels and water toys (ie, boogie boards) with the house. The house did need a few updates (a few repainting spots, water from hot tub was leaking through the roof onto the grill, and the hot tub could not be set to a proper temperature and no manual was available) but these were relatively minor.

Fun place a few steps from the beach for a group of 8-10.
We enjoyed the lighthouse at twin Lakes. It is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our family. The hot tub was a plus. Master bedroom and large bath was well appreciated. The house could use some repairs and freshening up. All in all it served our family well.

Great property. Great location.
Rented the house for a family reunion. Great location right by the beach. Hot tub with great view of the ocean, rooms and beds were comfortable. Walking distance to Twin Lakes beach and local restaurants & coffee shops. Would stay here again!
