Place was very nice, you can just walk over the dunes to reach the beach. Very spacious and not crowded. Beach was clean as well. Definitely vacationing here with the kids again. Very kid friendly.

Fabulous stay at the beach

I love Pajaro Dunes! Such a beautiful peaceful place. The beach was beautiful, the condo was nice and well stocked. The check in was easy and we had a great time.

well maintained rental at a serene location

Had a great time, staying 3 nights at this vacation home. Mr.Howard was very responsive and helpful. Had a wonderful time with family. The place had the necessary furnishing and the necessities for a family. Would love to stay again!

Wonderful Property with Amazing Management/Ownership

Perfect weekend with family!

We had a perfect weekend at Pajaro Dunes, the house is literally 1 min walk from the a beautiful beach, clean and fully equipped ! Would definitely go back and strongly recommend for a family get away weekend

Gorgeous Get-a-way

A beautiful place to feel peace and tranquility just steps from the beachfront. Although it was misty and chilly, it was relaxing by the fireplace and perfectly scenic. I recommend this location to anyone who wants a refresh!

Weekend Getaway

The condo was exactly how it was listed. It was very comfortable and cozy. We were on the lower floor so you can hear the kids running upstairs but it was not all night. The beach access was so close from condo. I would go back again.

Awesome relaxation with real human character

We've stayed in a lot of units at Pajaro Dunes. Honestly, they're all amazing - this location is ever stellar. This unit is refreshing for not being one of those sterile IKEA-stocked rental units where everything is blue glass and "beach" written in rope on the walls. There's really intriguing art and a generally really relaxing vibe. I love the mirrors! The use of the electronic lock made check in and check out a lot faster than other PD units - nice!Thanks for an absolutely wonderful stay!

Pajaro Dunes, Watsonville CA

The condo was exactly as stated in the listing and the owner was very prompt with all communication. The location was great, it was a short walk to the beach where you could walk north into Sunset State Beach . The resort is gated with friendly. Easy drive to Monterey about 35-40 miles. It fit all our needs and we would stay again.

A favorite place

We always enjoy our time in this place and this unit in particular. We enjoy the patio on the sand, the kids love the soft carpet and take a warm bath each night. The owner is responsive and flexible to make our stay terrific every time. We will be back.

Superb Location

Steps from an amazing stretch of coastline, sunrises sunsets. Unit accommodated our family of four adults comfortably. Gas fireplace in living area provided a cozy space for cool evening and early morning gatherings. Would return.

Clean, comfortable condo on the beach

This condo was immaculately clean, even the windows! The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well stocked. Everything was just as listed on VRBO. We had some problems initially entering the condo with the new door code and lock, but someone promptly helped us resolve the problem.

Winner for Shorebirds condos

We’ve stayed at 3 different units now at the Shorebirds and this is one of the best. Had everything you could need. Just show up with clothes and groceries. Cutlery/utensils were great, which we’ve found lacking at other units. Plenty of extra blankets, pillows, towels. Even had olive oil and plenty of seasonings. Never had an issue with any appliances, bathrooms, etc. you can really tell which owners care about the comfort of their guests and which ones just rent for the money. This place is a winner.

Lovely Stay

This condo built in the early 1970s had what many lack: two bedrooms, two baths, and a king-size bed. The master bedroom had nice bedding and a comfortable bed. There were many dishes and spices in the kitchen, a huge selection of books, and an abundance of bath towels. The unit has been upgraded as best as could be, and was very comfortable. It was very quiet but it might have been the time of the year that we visited. The sand dunes are right by the unit, and you can see the ocean. The only down side was that cell service was sketchy. This area is isolated from the major cities of Monterey, Carmel, and Santa Cruz (about 30 minutes). If you have to all 911 (as we did), the fire department was there within 7 minutes.

Good Stay

The beach was beautiful. The condo is nicely decorated and furnished; and was clean. The TV and internet was easy to use; and there is a fan for white noise or cooling. Due to the large window glass catching a lot of sun, the afternoons could get a little warm, but cooled as the sun started to drop. If I lived there, I would have an extra floor fan or replace the dining room light with a fan, which would change air flow dynamic significantly (I like to keep rooms cooler than most folks). This is a downstairs unit which my wife liked due to no stairs. The upper units have stairs but have more ocean and beach visibility, although the ocean (not beach) is visible from this unit. Good stay.

A wonderful family getaway with my parents and aunt. So enjoyed the beach access, walking along the coast every day and picking up treasures. This was a perfect unit for four of us and worked out so well for those of us with mobility issues. Very comfortable, felt right at home.
