Porticello

The hosts, Giorgio and Mari Angela are wonderful and were great hosts. Picked us up from S. Flavia railway station and provided great tips on Porticello. This is a lovely fishing village with a relaxed vibe.

A great place to stay

We really enjoyed our vacation at Giorgio’s place. The apartment was equipped with all basics one needs. Only some extras would have been great (like seasonings, extra towels, or extra toilet paper). The communication with both him and his wife couldn’t have been better. Both took care of us and problems in the best way imaginable. What we didn’t fancy though was the way the apartment was advertised online as a major detail apparently was left out, meaning the fact that the apartment is split in half automatically as soon as you travel with less than 5 people, which leaves you with a one room apartment. As the communication with Giorgio revealed, this lack of transparency has to be assigned to the platform. With regards to everything within his scope of responsibility, we were very pleased and satisfied. :)

So so toll!

Meine Freundin und ich hatten das Vergnügen, in dieser wunderschönen Wohnung zu übernachten! Giorgio und Maria waren mehr als perfekte und liebe Gastgeber, die uns sogar angeboten haben, uns vom Bahnhof abzuholen und später wieder dorthin zu bringen. Alles war großartig. Vielen Dank. Wir möchten auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

Ottima ospitalità in un luogo tranquillo

È stato un piacevolissimo soggiorno, in una località tranquilla, a 20 minuti di treno da Palermo; con calette e spiagge non troppo grandi, con l'acqua molto pulita, la piazzetta a ridosso del porticciolo molto graziosa con bar e ristoranti di buona qualità. La ciliegina sulla torta sono i proprietari,Giorgio e Mariangela,gentilissimi,ospitali e disponibili per qualunque informazione e necessità, due persone veramente piacevoli. L'unica nota negativa la viabilità poco sviluppata per un turista a cui piace muoversi a piedi o in bicicletta...la pubblica amministrazione dovrebbe fare molto di più in tal senso.

Waw ! Quel séjour ! Georgio est un propriétaire formidable, il nous a fait visité la ville et nous a emmené chaque jour dans des endroits fabuleux ! Il a fait en sorte que nos vacances soient merveilleuses et nous l'en remercions beaucoup. L'appartement est super, très bien situé, au dessus d'une pizzeria excellente, face au port de Porticello. Tout était propre, l'architecture de la maison est très belle, et l'avantage est que même lorsqu'il fait chaud, l'air marin permet que l'appartement soit toujours frais. Tout est mis en place pour passer un très bon séjour, un supermarché à une dizaine de minutes à pied, des plages à quelques minutes, des restaurants, un centre archéologique gréco-romain très intéressant, cet endroit plaira à tous ! Merci encore à Giorgio pour ces vacances, pour ses surprises et tout ce qu'il nous a fait découvrir. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr ! A &T

Great place to stay!

We are so happy with our stay in Porticello! The apartment was really big and nice and had the best view, located straight over the port and good restaurants. It was never to far to visit some amazing places and Giorgio was an amazing help showing us around Santa Flavia and showed us both great places to eat, views and beaches. He was really helpful through all of our visit. We would definitely return to this place! Matilda and Johan

Schöner Aufenthalt in ansprechender Umgebung mit traumhaftem Blick über den Hafen! In der Wohnung herrscht eine gemütliche und stilvolle Atmosphäre, es ist alles da, was frau braucht und dem Ferienleben nach eigenen Bedürfnissen steht absolut nichts im Wege. In der Nähe gibt es nette kleine Läden für den täglichen Bedarf, das Dorf ist freundlich und ursprünglich in seinem Fischer-Alltag. Die Vermieter sind sehr höflich und der Preis ist fair. Wir kommen gerne wieder! K & K

sentirsi a casa lontano da casa

Incuriositi dalle foto così particolari, abbiamo deciso di correre il rischio scegliendo questo appartamento. Ed è stata un'ottima scelta! Le foto addirittura non gli rendono giustizia: ambiente curato nei dettagli, funzionalissimo, accogliente e spiritoso. Noi eravamo solo in due ma saremmo stati comodi anche se fossimo stati di più. C'è posto abbondante per due famiglie, con spazi separati che volendo consentono la privacy di entrambe. Comoda la cucina munita di tutto il necessario. Splendida la vista sul porto!! Ma al di là dell'appartamento, ciò che abbiamo apprezzato più sono state la sua pulizia (mia moglie è una maniaca, per accontentare lei ce ne vuole!!) e la cortesia e la disponibilità dei proprietari che non si sono risparmiati fornendoci indicazioni e suggerimenti su come muoverci in zona. Insomma, ne siamo rimasti entusiasti! Il nostro prossimo viaggio sarà con amici ai quali già abbiamo parlato di questo posto e dei soppalchi che faranno impazzire i ragazzi!

relax e divertimento a Porticello

abbiamo trascorso Porticello e dintorni....4 piacevoli giorni. siamo stati ospitati in una casa davvero bella , spaziosa, luminosa e pulita. I proprietari sono stati molto gentili e disponibilissimi ad indicarci i diversi posti da visitare lì vicino.....e abbiamo goduto dei paesaggi più belli. mare blu fresco e pulito . spiagge rocciose molto caratteristiche. abbiamo raggiunto in pochi minuti la spiaggia di Mondello, vicino palermo, molto bella anche questa. la sera uscivamo a fare passeggiate sul lungomare.....tutto molto carino. è stata proprio una vacanza piacevolissima, che consiglierei a chi non ci è mai stato. ne vale proprio la pena. io ci ritornerei volentieri.
