Good and bad
Good:
Location is great if u want to be in the middle of busy touristy town- so good if you have independent kids to walk to beach or shops and disco 2 streets over. One caveat is it would be great if no strip tease bar were located a few houses down from this place; Great is the terrace if no bees, (we had a huge nest that kept bothering us when on terrace, Marchela left a spray can for us to take care of it, we said no so she sent a man that only sprayed the bees nest and left the nest on the terrace so of course the bees return, so WE had to remove the bees nest ( you’re welcome); She responds to issues but Her responses to our issues were delayed until the weekend when she’s off work.
Bad:
No dishwasher ( VRBO says there is one but there is NOT one, we were there for 3weeks with dish pan hands now!); Location is in the middle of a busy & very NOISY town so makes sleeping difficult if you open windows or not (daytime is ok) and it’s next to strip tease bar & men/sometimes very drunk coming out ( I would not have stayed here because I have a young daughter 19 yrs coming home late at night next to that); unit is tooo hot in July making Me have to run the air conditioner and the floor fan constantly to cool it since the apt is NOT energy efficient and AC units filters were dirty so causes them to have to run longer- and you have to pay for electric, now I know why; PARKING is very limited unless you are ok walking 1 mile away lugging groceries & we got 100 euro parking ticket; kitchen sink is old and looks dirty makes me not want to be in kitchen; refrigerator does not cool well; bath shower head fell off 2 times and she came to fix but not til the weekend ( second time I did not bother to call because it would take her 1 week to get there to fix); Bathrooms have no fresh air so u sit on the toilet sweating profusely after just getting out of the shower;
I would only stay here again IF it’s at half the price during peak time IF it’s a short visit of 5 days or less not in hottest months of July and you don’t have little kids and don’t mind washing dishes by hand or plan to eat out for most of your meals, and you don’t have a car; Other major negatives: Huge black bugs 3 inches long x2 and ants if u don’t keep every crumb off the dining table. Glad I’m back home . No long vacations there and definitely not in hottest months.
