「Wat een heerlijk boutique hotel. Hotel Don Pepe heeft sfeer, karakter en vooral: een kloppend hart. Ik heb hier echt genoten. De zachte bossa nova op de achtergrond, de warme en persoonlijke inrichting, de fijne ligging in het historische centrum én 150m van het strand: alles klopt. Het personeel is ongelooflijk attent en vriendelijk, onder de persoonlijke begeleiding van manager Claudia. Je voelt je hier geen nummer, maar echt gezien als gast. Ook de eigenaar is regelmatig op de achtergrond...

「Great location in the historic centre, close to everything. The room was excellent with a good bathroom and powerful air conditioning, but like most of Santa Marta there is limited hot water. The small pool was being repaired when we visited, but the shares balcony and rooftop are great places for a siesta. 」

「Nos gustó mucho la ubicación del hotel porque está muy céntrico, pero no el que esté en el tercer y cuarto piso de un edificio, pues lo hace menos privado. Se escuchaba mucho el ruido de los restaurantes y bares, y no pudimos disfrutar de la terraza porque las palomas se han adueñado de ella y la dejan muy sucia. El aire acondicionado estaba goteando mucho y no se pudo conseguir a la persona de mantenimiento, por lo que la recepcionista Tania que fue sumamente amable, nos cambió a otro cuarto.」
