The owners/management was very quick to respond about a possible early check in and gave us all information needed! They were organized and prompt with multiple forms of communication (VRBO, email and text). The house was gorgeous and easily accessible. It was perfect for our group and had everything we needed. Once we got to the house, it would not cool. After a few hours of keeping shades drawn, doors, shut, etc. the house still wouldn’t cool past 75-76 degrees. We called, texted, emailed and messaged management multiple times with no answer. The fridge also was not keeping food cold enough. Ice was melting in the freezer and our milk was warm after 4 hours in the fridge. Typically this is not an emergency as we had coolers and ice, but our 2 year olds life saving heart medication needs to stay cold (but not frozen) and we had to find an alternative place to store it. Once we got ahold of the company the next morning, we had to make multiple attempts to get the problem fixed (to be fair there was a miscommunication regarding the fridge). The woman we spoke to was very calm and understanding and we really appreciate her efforts in getting it fixed! Things happen, we totally understand, our biggest concern was our medically fragile child comfort in the warm house and ensuring his meds were at the appropriate temperature. Once both technicians came, things improved and it was great! We did not make it to the pool as we were exhausted from the beach every day. Overall, great!!

Beautiful home/ poor communication

There was a big lightning storm the second day we were there. That day the internet went out. The property manager from across the street was there that day to look at the house across the street. I called our property manager. No one ever came out. I called or texted everyday…neither the tv nor the thermostat was functioning. At night the house was getting down to 63 degrees, we had it set fr 78. Finally on our second to last day, someone came out to check on it, and that was only because the fire alarms were all Going off. The house was spacious and beautiful, but the customer service was terrible!

Lovely house

Coconut Cottage was just as lovely in person as in the photos. Clean and spacious house. Loved the kitchen. The house worked well for 6 adults and 4 kids. The kids room was perfect, they loved the bunk beds. It is just about a mile from the beach. Really convenient and we never had an issue with finding parking close to the Blue Mountain Beach Public Access. Lots of options for getting to beach - rent a golf cart or bike, walk, or drive and park close to access lot. Beautiful neighborhood with a really nice pool area. The kids loved it! Management was very responsive to all questions and requests while we were there, really impressed with the high level of service they provided us. We had an amazing week at the beautiful beach!

Vacay 2022

It was a very nice house. A little farther from the beach than we would like. If you don’t care about going to the beach every day, then it would be a great place to stay. The parking was bad. It would have been nice to rent a golf cart, but there was no place to park it.

Very nice location with beautiful pool

Overall the stay was very good. The sink was broken upon arrival but we let the property manager know. The only complaint would be the AC was going to 76 every time we left the house. We let the property manager know this as well. It’s about a mile to the beach you just need to get there super early to be able to park.

Great safe location and very close to the pool! A+

Tankless hot water heater was a winner! 11 people staying in the house and everyone could shower after beach trips without waiting for the hot water heater to warm up. Pool was nice and very close. Great ice cream and coffee spot within walking distance. Only draw back was tight parking spots and to far to walk to the beach for our family. Id definitely stay here again.

Horrible property management group

The house itself was okay although the a/c kept freezing up even though we had it set at 73. So after a long day at the beach the house inside would be 76 degrees. The worst part about this property however is the property group that manages it. We were accused of misplacing 4 poop wristbands and charged IMMEDIATELY after explaining it couldn’t have been us that lost them because we didn’t use a single wrist band throughout the duration of our stay. My husband even checked the wrist bands making sure they were all there before we departed. After spending a lot of money to stay here and to be treated like this, we are EXTREMELY disappointed and will not book again!

Lovely house and location

This house and the neighborhood is beautiful! Spacious enough for our family - 4 adults and 2 children - without feeling cramped. We all had our own space and could separate when necessary (as anyone with a family knows that you eventually need some alone time). The cleanliness left a little to be desired as we had to wipe down the counters & table & scrub the kitchen sink & sweep the kitchen floor when we got there. (Note to VRBO - please leave some kind of cleaning spray for the inevitable spills or wipe ups. We understand the need to buy laundry detergent & some paper goods, however having to purchase cleaning products too is a bit much for a vacation). The bathrooms, bedrooms & linens were all immaculate. In all the property was clean, spacious and convenient. We’ve stayed at other properties in this area and a couple things that other properties had that would make it easier (and cheaper) for those of us traveling to this destination would be beach chairs and some beach toys for kids. Also make it clear that it is NOT within walking distance to the beach.

Perfect Location

This was the perfect house for our family. Having young kids, we chose to be closer to a nice pool over the beach (although not far away at all). The house is only 5 away from a wonderful resort style pool and hot tub. The beach is a short drive away with a few beach access points to choose from. The house was clean and well kept. Would definitely stay here again.

Will stay there again.

Super clean. Nice location. Everything was perfect. The only thing I disliked about the house is the fact that it had no curtains or blinds on the windows downstairs. Other than that it's worth the stay.

Great location with beautiful golf courses, amazing beaches, scenic bike, running and walking paths.
