I loved staying here with my 3 little kids. The open concept on the first floor made it easy to keep an eye on my kids while in the kitchen (easy to find everything in the kitchen - nice wine opener for when the kids went to bed 😆). The coffee machine let's you make single cups or pots of coffee while the kids watch cartoons in the morning. I loved having the washer and dryer right as we came in the garage so I could put everything straight into the wash. The room with the daybed was great for my family and had a connected bathroom with a tub for bath time. The screened in porch with the big table was nice for dinner and my kids loved running around out there. I was a bit nervous when I saw all the white in the pictures but, once there, I saw the furniture had slip covers for easy cleaning. We mainly ate outside as it is beautiful with the trees.
The location was great. The Blue Mountain Creamery is halfway between the house and the beach. It was an easy walk with a paved path. I highly recommend stopping to get homemade ice cream treats on the way back from the beach (they also have donuts). The bike trails are great in the area and it's really easy to get around. The beach was beautiful with clear blue water, clean soft white sand, and easy access points. There was a variety of beach gear in the garage at the house - we used the sun umbrella, buckets, shovels, and beach wagon we found there. The grocery store was a short drive from the house. The neighborhood is quiet and relaxing. Overall, I'm very much looking forward to staying at Ivory Keys again and I highly recommend it to any families needing a beach get away.
