House was amazing! Basically directly on the beach and private beach area. House was beautiful and roomy as well. But the location of the house can’t be beat. We will definitely be back.

Our Happy Place

Our happy place is definitely at 30A, staying at Our Happy Place was great! Perfect location to walk to the restaurants & stores but more importantly, perfect location to be close to beach and the house! We went after Christmas so it was chilly at times and having the warm pool after braving the ocean was great! Enough room for all of us, had a lovely visit!

Excellent location on the beach

Perfect location steps from beach & town. Great layout for kids - our two families really loved our stay. Great pool shaded in the late afternoon, large common spaces. Two master ensuites. Kids slept in the three bedrooms downstairs & had their own tv area. Easy parking. Loved it!! Would definitely book again,

Perfect location & amenities

This house is so cute and spread out among 3 floors. We had 3 families (6 kids & 6 adults) and it was perfect. The extra umbrellas at the beach was absolutely amazing and appreciated that more than anything with all the kids. The pool was heated and everything we needed was there. It is situated in a perfect location and had plenty of dishes, wine glasses and the best wine bar area! We will definitely stay here again separately and with friends. This was our favorite house so far over the years of renting beach homes.

Reviewer Comments: Although we loved the main living area of the house and the proximity to the beach/walkway, the bedrooms on the lower level were very disappointing. They did not have adequate storage and we lived out of our suitcases all week. Bunk room would be perfect for children but the two other rooms need storage.

Reviewer Comments: We have been coming to 30A for many years and this house checks all of the boxes - close private beach access, private pool, lovely views of the gulf, large well equipped kitchen, walking distance to shops and restaurants, beach toys, beach chairs, beach towels, books and board games. We also really appreciated the high quality appliances and 2nd refrigerator. An added bonus was the large outdoor eating area for our group of 12 with beautiful views of the beach. No need to bring your own umbrellas or chairs as the 4 chair/umbrella setup is included.

Family reunion in paradise

What an amazing week at an amazing location. Positives= plenty of room for our party. LOVED the SIX umbrellas and 4 chairs. We’ve never had that many and it was a game changer for our group. Location can’t be beat. Loved the two fridges and 2 sets of washer dryers! Pool was a nice size as well. We loved the showers and loved the decks with great views. Negatives= some of the kitchen chairs are on their last legs and would need replaced. You may want to have someone check the lightbulbs around the property. A lot of lights were out. The bunk bed room needs new beds. The mattresses don’t fit the frames and the bunk bed felt like it was ready to fall apart. The downstairs a/c must be checked. We couldn’t get any of the bedrooms to cool. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat. Take the negatives with a grain of salt. Just thought you would want to know both positive and negative. Thanks again for a great week!

Gated community with private beach. Since we were there in August, we appreciated both the included beach setup and the private pool. Even though several houses in the neighbourhood were undergoing renovations, we weren’t disturbed. We walked to Gulf Place to get coffee in the morning, lunch in the afternoon and shops and the farmers market in the early evening.The first floor was perfect for one family, with a frig and laundry, play area and three bedrooms. The third floor was perfect for the other two families, with a laundry and two daybeds.There was plenty of room on the second floor for everyone and evening entertainment.Short drive to our favourite restaurants: Stinky’s, Goatfeathers and Local Catch.The new owners are doing a good job of keeping the house fresh. We had a disappointing stay at the house next door two years ago, since it had six bedrooms, and there was a lack of upkeep and broken furniture.This house is worth the price. You won’t be disappointed.

The beach is only steps away and is absolutely gorgeous. We used the pool as much as the beach with the kids and grandkids (5 grandkids, 7 yrs old and under). We had the pool heated, worth the money. Coffee and eating places are a short walk away. The name "Our Happy Place" is spot on!

The property is just steps from beach access, and has fabulous views of the water from both decks. The house itself is spacious, with three bedrooms and two baths on the first floor, like a separate apartment with its own living area. The two master bedrooms on the third floor are large and beautiful, each with very nice bathrooms. The main living area on the second floor is huge, with a well-appointed kitchen containing everything you need for groups large and small. Several restaurants are within walking distance, but far enough away that you will not hear them. In sum--you will love "Our Happy Place." Guaranteed.

I can safely say that this has been our best experience. Costal Blue was amazing because they quickly answered my many questions before we booked! There are usually always issues at any place we stay (we usually have issues with dirty bathrooms - but NOT here), but I can't think of one issue at "Our Happy Place"! The AC was always cool...the wifi always worked and never lagged...the water was always hot. We walked in to a nice surprise. Not only was there a washer and dryer on the top floor, but there was also one on the bottom floor. The walkway to the beach is literally across from the front door. This house will be our go to for group and extended family vacations!!

Appreciated the beach chairs and beach towels. The kitchen is well-equipped. The main floor balcony provides nice outdoor seating for meals. It is a very safe neighborhood. Only negatives: There is no storage in the 5th bedroom. I purchased & donated an inexpensive 3 drawer unit so my daughter could unpack her suitcase.There is no button/buzzer to prevent little ones from opening either of the two external pool access doors.

Family fall break

Our family absolutely loved this house! Great location and the best beach access! The extra beach chairs and sand toys came in handy. The only negative thing, the stacked washer and dryer on the first floor needs some attention or replaced. Doesn’t clean at all.

Everything we needed was provided including plenty of kitchen supplies. The beds were so comfortable and clean and two of the rooms had gorgeous ocean views. Our host was very easy to communicate with leading up to the trip, and during the trip no communication was needed because everything was so fantastic! As a bonus, there’s a great coffee shop and small shopping center walking distance from the house. We would absolutely stay here again!

Not Quite There

The location and proximity to the beach are hard to beat! The layout of the house was great, especially with two master bedrooms for two families. The kids had a blast in their own floor. The property manager was superbly responsive when we contacted her about relatively minor issues. I couldn't recommend her more highly. The house itself seemed like it needed some TLC. The dryer took easily 4 cycles to dry anything because the dryer hose hadn't been cleaned out. The stove burners on the main floor didn't work well - one was even unsafely clogged. Two toilet paper roll holders fell off the wall while we were there because they were barely attached. The upstairs dishwasher never actually used all of the powder and you had to wonder how clean your dishes were getting. The owner had told the property manager that there were two kids bikes, but there was only one and it didn't work. Thankfully, the property manager handled that well. We had problems with roaches on the lowest floor. Overall, the location and layout make this a great rental house, but I wish it had been in a bit better shape.
