This is our go to hotel to stay at with our family, when in the area. Upon our arrival, our room is already when we check-in from the app, with our mobile key ready for us to head straight to our room. The rooms are always clean and have a modern decor. The location is great with walkable access to many shops, restaurants and downtown.

The tv didnt work on artival. Which is ok, but we only found out after settling in. Had to move rooms. Wifi is ridiculously slow...reminiscent of dial up days. Staff, great.

Our stay at the Courtyard was nice. We were on the 2nd floor at the front of the building so a but of noise in the evening. The breakfast and breakfast staff were good. I might suggest adding pancakes and a side of toast to menu. The evening menu was ok. Need some revamping of the dining area. The yellow sling back chairs were hard to move on carpet and some of the banquets were at an odd angle to the table. Overall, the lobby and dining area need warming up- try rail related decor or peanuts characters. Did not see printed tourist info available - yes some of still like printed info.

Just so-so

I wanted to love this hotel, especially after all of the positive reviews. And seeing as though it has such a high rating. But my stay was just so-so. I realize these are first world problems, but I had paid for an upgraded room to have a better view, though at no point during check-in was I informed that painting was taking place and the windows were covered with tarps during my entire stay. I was not offered a refund for the extra fee I had paid. The bed and pillows were absolutely Heavenly, but what other reviews have failed to mention is how small the rooms are. This wouldn’t be an issue, except the beds are standard size, which left hardly any room to walk around with ease. My shins are all bruised up from this. The staff though, they were incredible and so very friendly and helpful.
