“Relaxing property — room was outdated”

“The floor was filthy. There was sand everywhere. The washer and dryer need proper maintenance performed. It took several cycles to get the laundry clean and dry. The kitchen did not have everything necessary to cook and the dishes had not been washed prior to our arrival. The hot water heater is in need of either a good cleaning or repairs as the hot water only lasted a few moments before running out. There was no extra bedding for the pull out sofa bed. It was inconvenient for us to have to……

“The condo was amazing! Nice bedrooms and living space. Super clean and within walking distance to the beach and pool. Property was very secure with a security guard at the entrance. Lots of parking available. Loved staying here.”

“I would suggest to the owner to strongly consider putting in a king size bed due to the bedroom being large enough to accommodate it. ”

“Emerald Isle is currently under construction as of March 2026. There is only one active elevator which creates long wait times. The unit was good, bit many outlets were not working. Property management moved us to a new resort (Portofino Island), which was great. I will book there instead next time.”

“Expensive for what the place offers. WiFi doesn’t exist on this particular unit, we have to use public WiFi, when I called the front desk, I was advised to reach out to either Expedia or hosteeva since they’re the once I booked with, what a disappointment. Positive feedback, it’s complete with kitchen utensils, pots & pans, clean unit. ”

“The property was ok, we were notified of the painting and cable updates ahead of our visit. What was horrible about the stay was the beach front access that was advertised in the rental was closed and being worked on 24 hours a day. They had heavy equipment and a huge pipeline pumping sand up on the beach. During the night we were awakened because of the noise from the heavy equipment and banging of the pipeline. When we told the property manager, Southern Hospitality they said they had no idea……

“We stayed in G7.. it was a comfy place, across from the pool. Nice pool view. It was clean, bed was soft, and they made it comfortable. No bugs at all so that was a huge plus. It did have a musty smell, possibly cigarettes from previous persons. Im picky so i did door dash some cleaning and good smell items just to freshen it up. All utensils and dishes were provided and the refrigerator was cold and large enough. Easy to cook for a small family. The beach access was easy, clean property and……

“The house was spotless and very cute and convenient and comfortable. It had great comfortable beds. The shower was amazing. The house had everything we needed. The beach was near walking distance and the trash can disposal was across the street. Covered parking was great for shade. We will most definitely stay here again. I recommend it ”
