"Pros: The place is just as fun and quirky as the pictures tell, with tons of charming details. The view from the terrace is great. "Rooms need update, especially bathrooms. We couldn’t fit in the toilet, wall same size of toilet, ridiculous. Good balcony and clean room. Gym too small and 2 machines out of order. 15 euros a day per parking, too expensive. Waiters trying to packing up dishes 30 minutes before the time and very noisy with the trollies and cuttery. Tin food and bad quality. Entreteintment good, Eri was good entrteiner. Receptionist very professional."

"Our room was beautiful, well lit and nicely appointed. We appreciated the small round table with two chairs (so often there’s only one) and individually controlled lights on each side of the bed. The open air (so to speak) closet is well conceived. Two (overhead locker sized) roller board suitcases, when opened, fit perfectly side by side on the low shelf. Drawers below provide ample space for those who wish to unpack. And, the space below that is perfect for shoes. We also appreciated “quiet” HVAC. The roof deck lounge is quite nice. Pool water could use some heat and the lounges don’t have much of an upright position option. But, throw pillows from nearby sofas work to make the lounges more comfortable for reading. The view from the deck is lovely! We did not opt for breakfast, as we chose to explore cafes. But, the morning spread looked delicious as we walked by. The hotel location is perfect for all sorts of activities…walking, catching a bus, taking a taxi or meeting a guide. All-in-all, we would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Friendy, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location*. The room had old school amenities like a laundry line in the bath and a bottle opener screwed to the door jam. The only fault is a shortage of electrical outlets. To charge my phone I had to resort to the hairdryer outlet in the bathroom. *To get to this hotel by vehicle (e.g. with luggage), approach the port and historic center area from the north, taking exit 32 from highwayTF5. If you try to come from the south, you will likely be frustrated, because 90% of the streets are one-way against you! Come in from north and you'll drive right up near this hotel."

"Lovely hotel with incredible views over the sea, very nice pool, good location with restaurants etc nearby and a 15 mins walk to the main part of Puerto de la Cruz (a bit steep on the way back). Plenty of parking within 5-10 mins walk. Breakfast is good, only negative is that the lifts are quite slow. "
