“Managed to get an accessibility room after some discussion. Evidently you can only reserve them if you phone in and not by registering online. Also right outside the accessible room was the only ice machine for the whole facility and it is not secured at night. People were filling large coolers at all times during the night. Most did not actually stay at the lodge.”

“Check-in was quick and easy staff was very friendly. Distance from check-in to room was very short. Room was as expected very nice very clean.”

“This was my mom second time here at this establishment. She had a great time the first time but this time rebooking her for almost $200 room for her birthday wasn’t pleasant. The rooms door (Suite Compassion) are pretty close room another so you may hear someone if you’re listening closely. My mom wasn’t even offered at least a birthday card not saying that’s mandatory at all but it would have been a nice touch especially driving a distance here What really disappointed my mom was when she……

“The room was cute and clean we used the pool and it was great. Literally right down the highway is the campgrounds for the state park. We used that area to do some amateur astronomy. Great time. Make it perfect if they had a restaurant or food available on property. I saw signs that they were renovating the restaurant. So hopefully soon. My 6 year old thought it was so fun.”

“Very beautiful place, everything was cleaned daily and it was a great experience, we stayed for 5 days and it was very peaceful and a great experience. The staff was amazing and very nice. Will totally come back one day.”

“We loved the views from the room and played multiple games of pool! We watched the World Cup in the amenity center and used the gym in the mornings. It was the perfect spot to feel like you’re getting away from life’s routine! This place is a hidden gem! I also enjoyed watching the wild turkeys and listening to all the birds chirping.”

“Disappointed with the lack of aesthetics at the pool and it was filthy. Lots of floating dead bees, mosquitos, and other insects. Also, the water spigot at our site was dispensing brown water. And our site had a sewer lid where you can smell the stench”
