The hotel still functions as a spiritual house with 8 friars still living onsite. It is a gentle spacious. Grand hotel and our room was both spacious and elegant. We looked out over a beautiful vista of rolling hills and countryside. A beautiful breeze from four French windows made it extra beautiful and bright. The combination of modern architecture supporting a convent originally built in the 11th century with a cathedral attached make it a unique place to simply be let alone have the privilege of staying. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful hotel with us!

Stuff amazing, bathroom dated!

It was really good to stay in San Francisco. The staff is amazing, friendly, and super helpful. Breakfast was very good too, and the amenities in the hotel are great. I just think that the pillows were uncomfortable, the TV was very small, and the bathroom appeared dated. However, these things were not a big deal and didn't bother us much.

The Historic Setting of this hotel, situated in the heart of Santiago de Compostela's historic center, it is within walking distance of the Cathedral and other attractions. A former monk's refectory, for banquets and meals, serves us excellent breakfast and dinner! The best! Great parking lot for free. I highly recommend this hotel !
