I chose this property due to location and listed amenities. Listed amenities include coffee shop/cafe, poolside bar, restaurant, coffee/tea in common areas, snack bar and deli. Unfortunately none of this is true- only coffee/tea during the breakfast buffet from 8 am-10 am. Poolside “bar” means a few tables on the rooftop terrace, there is no bar service. No restaurant, deli or cafe, just the breakfast set up for 2 hours. Overall amenities listed are very misleading. As a VIP member, we were to receive a bottle of sparkling wine. There was a bottle of white wine in the room, no corkscrew. None at the front desk either. Hubby had to go out looking to buy one, finally found a guy who said he would open it for him in one of the “colmados” nearby. Unfortunately the wine was oxidized and undrinkable. Front desk attendant asked us to bring him the bottle and it would be taken care of. We did but never received another bottle. Wifi was extremely slow and spotty. Warm water was also hard to come by, we reported it as well and did have hot water on checkout day. Room was clean (other than ants), bed and linens comfortable. Location great (close to malecon and historic center.) Staff was friendly, but not proactive. Definitely would choose a different place on our next visit to Santo Domingo.

The staff was very nice and assured a very much a warning welcome. This was my very first international travel and the driver Edison was nice everyone was very polite and amazing so shout to you all from America! It was nice meeting you all! We will meet again, see you guys soon!!!

You get what you pay for .... this is a 3 Star hotel and is a reasonable price.....however that does not excise some basic quality issues. Bathroom towels were old and some torn. Shower was a handled (that leaked), toilet seat was broken (and after 2 requests we gave up) and hot water was sporadic. There was no reliable WiFi so the SMART TV didn't work at all. Some outlets also did not work. Neighbourhood was a bit run down (but safe) and the Colonial district was about a 10 min walk. Good things were the pool....small and a bit cloudy but nice to have. Breakfast was decent but get there early. Jose was excellent and the staff generally pleasant and helpful. All in all an OK experience but if I had to do it again, I would pay a bit more for a nicer hotel. We have stayed in many hotels in the Colonial District so we do have a decent perspective and knowledge of the options.

Good location in the tourist zone. Staff very friendly and helpful. But the room had just one window that looked out into a corridor, the light in the room was way too bright while the light in the bathroom was too dim. Hot water was only available intermittently and the Wifi was very slow in the morning and then again in the evening.

C'était bien dans l'ensemble mais à notre arrivée vu que nous parlions français on sentait pas à l'aise nous avions l'impressions de déranger un petit pépin avec le coffre fort qui est venu à la chambre mais oufff qu'on sentait pas les bienvenus après on a plus rien demandé juste nos déjeuner sur la toiture pas de ménage de chambre rien pour nos 4 jours à l'hôtel ! Mais la propreté correct le déjeuner et les dames du déjeuner super climatisation bien! Bien mais j'y retournerez pas

La habitación es sencilla pero linda y eficiente, el baño es bonito, hay pantalla de TV, aire acondicionado, ventilador y había dos botellas de agua Nuestra reservación decía que incluía una botella de Champagne pero no nos dieron nada :( Habitación limpia, en una zona muy cercana al centro de la ciudad y a los puntos donde salen los Tours, y personal amable en recepción Solo deja un poco a desear la variedad del buffet en el desayuno, es muy pequeño el menú El área de La alberca estaba en mantenimiento aparentemente ya que no pudimos usarla, pero no se veía que estuvieran trabajando en repararlo
