Never again!

When we arrived at Blue Sky around 1:30pm, the reception area completely closed, no one to check us in. A hand written notes was stuck on the door, only leaving two mobile numbers. (Credits must be given to the hotel next door Golden Star, we asked them to help calling the mobile numbers but in vain.) And obviously this is not the first time things like this happened, Golden Star direct us to the Blue Suite Hotel and said they are of the same group. Blue Suite Hotel was far from the town centre. When we arrived, the rude operator (mother of the family) gave no explanation and apologies. Room though with a good view yet smells moldy and old. Small washroom. Breakfast only provides bread, ham, cheese, jam and that's it.

La struttura si presenta bene nel complesso e c’e anche una grande piscina. Il personale sempre gentile e disponibile per qualsiasi informazione. Peccato per la pulizia della camera... abbiamo alloggiato all’hotel per 10 notti e le lenzuola sono state cambiate solo all’ottavo giorno. Il bagno come i pavimenti non sono mai stati puliti; l’unica cosa che facevano quotidianamente era il cambio degli asciugamani. Il giudizio nel complesso è più o meno positivo, considerata anche la posizione a 5 min dal centro e dalla fermata dei pullman.

It’s location is good, very close to everything, the washrooms are really bad, it feels like you are in a hostel or a pension, the bed, bed sheets, pillows, are very old, refrigerator is all rusted. Because there is a lot of things that look gross and need to be updated it not a good experience, should be 2.5stars no more.

We needed to book a hotel because our ferry was canceled due to bad weather. This place had decent reviews but was terrible. It smelled odd, had hard/uncomfortable beds, the refrigerator didn't work, the safe as broken, the light in the bathroom was awful/broken, the toilet flusher was broken and we had to manually flush it and the shower was so gross we decided not to shower and wait until our next place. When I went downstairs to ask to switch rooms the guy said he wasn't the manager and there was nothing he could do. Nothing he could do! WORST PLACE WE HAVE EVER STAYED! DO NOT STAY HERE!

O hotel é bem localizado, próximo do comércio, dos pontos turísticos, ponto de táxi e de ônibus. O café da manhã é bem fraco. O quarto é pequeno e o banheiro muito pequeno. O banheiro não tem box... fica bem molhado.

Affordable, basic, clean inn-no view but good area

We stayed at Blue Sky for 3 nights after travelling from Canada. I would say it's a clean 3-star inn in a great location. Plus the price is good compared to some of the caldera view hotels on the other side of the hill. Overall it's a good place to spend the night with a nice pool to spend the afternoon at if you wish. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you want large rooms, a good view or 5 star service or dining. The good: Simple check in Clean rooms Modern A/C unit Daily cleaning and fresh linens (although they looked like large towels cut in half) Nice clean, large pool with large loungers (but unfortunately surrounded by walls on all sides leaving no scenic views) Great location close to downtown Fira and the central bus station The bad: No sea view Small shower with bad grimy curtain was barely big enough to turn around in. And since the curtain didn't really cover the stall, water sprayed all over the bathroom floor leaving it very wet. The washroom was very tiny so having a wet floor was not pleasant. - The continental breakfast was a joke. It consisted of basic white bread, salami and cheese slices plus stale cereal and coffee from a machine. After the first day we decided to eat elsewhere.

Note positive : ottima piscina pulita e curata , ottima posizione vicino al centro ideale per uscire la sera senza la necessità di utilizzare mezzi... Note negative : la camera nulla di che’ molto rustica, frigo anni 80, bagno lascia a desiderare bisognava buttare l’acqua con il secchio per fare andare via i bisogni, presenza di cattivo odore perenne in bagno, acqua calda disponibile dopo le 19:00, per quanto riguarda la colazione anch’essa pecca in varietà. Per chi come me ci andava solo per dormire potrebbe andare ma il bagno e da sistemare urgentemente..
