Fabulous villa property

Beautiful away from crowds

We very much enjoyed our stay at this location. It's away from the major tourist spots like Fira and Oja. This means you get a more authentic local experience but also need transportation to get around. We booked tours or drivers as needed.

Great short break

We stayed for 5 nights, great property, bedrooms are a good size with comfy beds. Bathrooms are well equipped and large. Lounge had comfortable seating and a dining table. Pool area is well kept with good quality loungers. We had a few mosquitos on the first night so bought a couple of plug-in insect repellants and they weren't an issue. One other thing to note, if you are hiring a car, make sure it's small as the streets up to the property are very narrow, we were in an Audi A1 and it was tight. Overall highly recommended as a base to see Santorini.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Mantilida villa house. The location was perfect for us and the pool area was very nice after a day of exploring. It’s a five star property and is just as listed. This house is a bit away from the tourist sites so a car rental made it possible to see everything on the island we wanted to. The only things that were not 5 star was there is a spot light right outside the bedroom window that stays on all the time. The house was also very hot. They did come and fix the A/C but was still really hot. We bought fans at the local hardware store and they helped it feel cooler at night so we could sleep. Overall we would definitely stay there again snd highly recommend it!

MAKE A DIFFERENT CHOICE

Proprty is difficult to find and we had bed bugs. Driving to the unit is difficult at best. Sleeping condions poor as pillows were substandard. Fans used for cooling. Tap water quality is poor. Used toliet paper not flushable.

Eine Oase für Ruhesuchende

Lokalisation für Ruhesuchende perfekt, trotzdem alles gut erreichbar, Auto ist eine Vorrausetzung dort , da man mit dem Bus nicht genügend flexibel ist Alexandra ist vor Ort die Organisatorin sie ist einfach eine Perle, Kontakt über Email immer auf unsere Wünsche eingegangen und hat alles organisiert. Relaxing Vacation

The villa was clean, the owner was very responsive and the cleaning staff did a great job keeping our villa comfortable. Nearby we found a couple of nice restaurants, the beach is a short distance away, and 2 supermarkets within walking distance. Very relaxing vacation and we will be back 😍

Quiet location

We loved our time at the Villa. It is pretty central as far as the location goes. The pool is a great added benefit. Anything we asked of Alexandra she was very responsive.

Villa Mantilida checked all of the boxes. Alexandra was wonderful and a pleasure to deal with. Amazing advice on places to see and eat. Narrow street to drive on to get to the villa Get a car but a small one! and have fun

Fijne tijd gehad

Het vakantiehuis is netjes en schoon. Twee nette slaapkamers met eigen badkamer. De keuken is ook schoon en goed voorzien. Het zwembad was ook fijn en er waren ruim voldoende ligbedjes. Het vakantiehuis ligt een stukje op een heuvel tussen andere huizen, dus het ligt rustig. Het is nog geen 10 minuten lopen naar de bakker en supermarkt. Wij hebben de auto op de parkeerplaats iets lager op de heuvel geparkeerd en dan is het nog 5 minuten lopen naar het huis. Dat is goed te doen. Er zijn ook garages bij het huis, maar let op dat de huurauto niet te groot is! Dat is sowieso handig vanwege de kleine, nauwe straatjes. Emporio is een klein stadje, centraal op het eiland.

Wir waren sehr zufrieden

Eine sehr schöne Villa in einem kleinen Ort im typisch santorinischen Stil. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und antwortet innerhalb kurzer Zeit. Alle Anliegen werden (wenn möglich) erfüllt. Ein Supermarkt ist in der Nähe (nicht ganz 10 Minuten zu Fuß), ein Mietwagen ist zur Inselerkundung empfehlenswert. Vielen Dank!!!

Tourist-free, perfect couple vacation

Great accommodation, go here, when you prefer pool over the sea and a calm environment. Alexandra was very helpful and even organized trips for us. If you want to get around, get Quads.

Superbe séjour à la villa Mantilida!

Rien de négatif à dire, Alexandra est une hôtesse extraordinaire! La situation à Emporio est idéale, près de Perissa et à 15 minutes de Fira. Je suggère de garer la voiture dans le stationnement à l’entrée du village, la rue qui mène à la villa est très pittoresque mais en voiture, c’est une autre histoire!

Fantastic stay!

We loved the house, the location, and Alexandra!!! She provided us with everything we could have wanted for two small children. The location was perfect for us, near the beach and lots of attractions. The layout of the house was great, the pool was awesome, the beds were comfortable, honestly it was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed (especially with two small children) and we’ve stayed in many countries, in many houses.

Ce n est pas une maison mais 2 appartements !

Attention il : ne s agit absoluement pas D une villa avec piscine privée ! En fait, la maison est divisée en deux appartements et la piscine est Commune. Du coup, le prix est bcp trop élevé pour les prestations proposées. En plus, la réalité est bien Moins flatteuse que sur les photos. L appartement est tout de même confortable , propre et bien climatisé. L hôte nous a bien accueilli en nous expliquant les points D intérêts de la région . ( mais C bien gardé de nous dire que nous aurions des voisins avec qui nous devrons partager les 4 transats disponibles) Au niveau de L emplacement, vous devrez prendre la voiture pour tout . Les fameux villages perchés, avec les petites maison traditionnelles blanches sont Â minimum 30 minutes en voiture. Mais l île est petite donc vous pourrez tout de même tous visiter si vous rester quelques jours. En somme, Meme si L appartement est agréable C est beaucoup trop cher par rapport aux prestations proposées . (en tout cas pour les prix pratiqués en Aout ).

Lovely home

The house is fantastic--two lovely bedrooms and two bathrooms with a very nice indoor and outdoor space. Alexandra helped us arrange a driver from the airport to her home and met us there to go over everything--including where the nearest markets and restaurants were. Everything needed was within walking distance. The pool was lovely and we spent quite a bit of time just sitting around the pool. Alexandra also assisted us with renting some ATV's for a day. She was very responsive to every question we had. We didn't have a lot of time in Santorini--really only 2 full days, so we didn't do as much as we would've liked, but the home and pool were so lovely that it was a pleasure to just hang out there. Just a note--there is a "sister" house that shares the property. We were lucky enough to be joined by 4 young Brits--who we spent a couple of hours around the pool visiting with....! I would definitely recommend Alexandra's home--as would my 3 travel companions. If I make it back to Santorini--which I hope to, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here!!
