We just got back from the most amazing, relaxing week. The cave was so special with lots of room and a fabulous pool. We were really looked after by the staff and the breakfasts were so generous. Elizabeth was a great host who helped us organise everything we needed to have exactly the holiday we wanted. We didn’t want to leave. We would advise hiring a car to make sure you see all the island has to offer but this is such a well located base to explore from. We would definitely return!

Incredible property! The staff and manager went above and beyond with their service. Rooms were clean. A delicious and plentiful breakfast was delivered to the suite every morning. Any requests we made were tended to immediately (booking a driver, making restaurant reservations, etc.). The view from the private pool was amazing. The suite itself was unlike any other property I’ve stayed at. Very unique and private. Giving this 5 stars, but be aware that this location is not near anything. It’s rather remote (if you want quiet and peaceful, this is your spot) so you will need to book drivers/Uber to get anywhere, which can be pricey.

My stay at the Theano Cave Suites was exquisite! I could not ask for a better host! Elizabeth was so attentive and helpful! A1 top notch service! I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I loved my villa! It was literally spotless! Had such an amazing experience! Definitely a 5 star property and well worth what we spent!

A perfect little getaway spot

I stayed at Theano Cave Suites for 3 nights and it was the best. I had the Grand suite with the private little pool and it was awesome. Elizabeth was great and gave me some great tips and helped arrange most of my transportation while in Santorini. Breakfast was lovely and brought straight to my room every morning and it was always a bit different which was nice. Across the street is the Fira to Oia hiking trail which I highly recommend taking the 50-60 min hike to Fira where most of the shops and restaurants are. The views along the way are just stunning. Theano is nicely situated about 15-20 min drive from most of your go to spots, i.e. Oia, Fira, Kamari and also the airport. You can rent a car or just take a taxi like I did. The cabs are mostly around 30-40 euros for the single trip. Just make sure you have cash because they rarely take cards. I will definitely be coming back here again when I visit Santorini. Thanks to Elizabeth and all the staff for a great stay!

It has beautiful sea views. Near to everything max 15 mins drive, quiet and private. Elizabeth was very helpful, she knows everything about the area. She provided early check-in too.

First of all this property is beautiful and super well maintained. Our host Elizabeth made our stay just amazing. She took care of every little detail. She reached out to us a couple of days before our arrival to arrange for our transportation from the port. Every day she met with us to plan our day and she simply made every day perfect. She even arranged for a photographer to take family pictures and flying dress picture for my daughter. We loved our days here. From the amazing breakfast that adjusted to our taste to the heated pool we enjoyed every day.
