Unbelievable location and accommodation
Views are even more stunning than the pictures. Property was clean and as described. Stairs are as expected in Oia. Property owner was always available to answer questions via message. Would 100% recommend this property to friends and family.

Stunning Views and Exceptional Hospitality
Kostis was an excellent host, incredibly accommodating and attentive. Before our arrival, he arranged our airport transfer and even organized porters for our luggage. He also checked in with us after we settled in to ensure everything was to our liking. The property is in an excellent location with the most incredible views. It’s a short walk to the main thoroughfare where all the food and shops are, and the medieval castle is also nearby. While it's a bit of a walk to get around, you can easily grab a bus to reach Fira or other spots on the island. The apartment is a unique cave house, spacious enough for four people. Note that the bathroom setup is a bit unconventional, with a very small half bath inside and a larger full bath just outside. The kitchen is nicely equipped, and don't forget to say hello to the friendly cats that stop by! Overall, the combination of stunning views, convenient location, and Kostis's outstanding hospitality made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

Great experience!
Staying in a cave home has been a dream of mine since we last visited 30 years ago. Kostas was the perfect host and helped us in so many ways, especially with logistics of arrivals and departure. We could never have arranged it so seamlessly on oùr own navigating the stairs and luggage. While it was a great experience, I would suggest you not wait until you are my age (80) to do the cave home experience unless you are very fit. Thank yòu Kostas for your superb hosting!

Cave apartment in Oia
The apartment was located in the center of most of sights in Oia. It is very crowded area but if you are interested in taking in the popular sights, you can be one of the first if you get up early. There's a half bathroom in the apartment and full bathroom outside down a short flight of stairs. A bit inconvenient for showers but doable. What would make this apartment great is if an awning is placed on porch to cover the blazing sun. The market umbrella does not provide enough shade especially in morning and afternoon. The view from the porch is breathtaking but too hot to stay for long. Also would have been hospitable if Kostis provided bottles of water for our first night as did other VRBO for us during our vacation in Greece. Tap water is undrinkable so we had to go shopping for water which is not easy in this location...lots of steps up and down and crowds to fight through.

Very interesting cave house in a great location. House was well furnished. Doors were very low so watch your head. Shower and main bathroom are outside the main house.

Perfect spot for our family vacation
We loved our stay here! It was very nicely decorated and was very clean. There was plenty of space inside and out! The view was amazing! And the location was great! Lots to do within walking distance!

So much potential
The property location is amazing. Views are absolutely beautiful. Property manager was very helpful with taxi service and luggage assistance (absolute must for this property). The property has the potential to be fantastic if it were updated. The indoor restroom is tiny and serves as shower/sink/toilet (approximately 3ft x 5ft). The larger second restroom is outside and down some stairs. There is no shower head and only a handheld with nothing to hold it up. The shower water is slow to drain and therefore you find yourself standing in several inches of water along with a long shower curtain that is molded at the bottom. I would compare it to camping showers. The front bedroom is very warm due to air conditioning unit not being strong enough to cool the entire property. We dealt with a few cockroaches inside the house. It was very difficult for our family to feel comfortable and relaxed. The front door is difficult to lock. The tv only displayed a partial picture. I would not recommend this property to families in need of space and updated amenities.

Magical!
Staying in a cave house in Oia was a unique and magical experience. The house was comfortable and the view was stunning. We can't thank Kostis enough for his quick communication and transportation arrangements. Everything went smoothly, and we felt welcome from the moment we arrived on Santorini. The kitchen had everything we needed, though we didn't really cook. Bedrooms were comfortable and cool. Our kids loved sleeping in the cave rooms. Oia gets VERY busy in the late afternoon and evening for the sunset. We loved having our own outdoor space away from the crowds. On one of our favorite nights, we picked up souvlaki and wine for dinner to enjoy on our patio over looking the caldera. Do the walk from Fira to Oia! It's breathtaking and not too difficult. Take an early bus from Oia to Fira, and then walk back. Buses get crowded in the afternoon, so it's better to start in Fira. It took us about 4.5 hours at a leisurely pace. Check out Santorini Sail with Capt. Kosmas. This sunset sail was a highlight of our time on the island. One of the best meals we had in Greece was on his boat! We rented a car for a day at 1st Choice Santorini (10 min. walk from the house) to tour the island. We visited the archeological site, Akrotiri. It's fascinating. Get a guide so you'll know what you are looking at. If you are exploring, stop in Megalohori for lunch. This village is charming! Thanks again to Kostis. You won't find a better host!

Wonderful cliff dwelling in Oia
Gorgeous views from Balcony, spacious bedrooms. Kitchen is functional and well equipped but small. It was recommended to us that we bring in bottled water to drink. Must have some physical fitness to navigate step stairs. There is a small washing machine available for light loads, must hang dry. We loved the location as it was central to the main town, but away from the noise and outdoor areas were pleasant. Owner was very responsive and helpful in arranging a driver and porters to help with suitcases up and down the narrow passageways and steep stairs. So thankful we did not take the public bus from the airport as I don't think we would have ever found the villa!
