Nice but a bit run down
The lobby, room and restaurant were nice but dated and not well kept up. You could stay at a nicer hotel in Sao Paulo for the same price. The staff was wonderful, so friendly and helpful! Overall the place needs a refresh or a full remodel.

Convenient location in São Paulo
The hotel is in a convenient location in São Paulo. The breakfast is good but the hot beverage machine, i.e. coffee dispenser, did not produce a good tasting coffee.

Reception is terrible. It took them 3 times to give me the correct room despite the hotel being at very low occupancy - I asked for a quiet room with a double bed. 3 trips back to reception and they did not even apologise. Breakfast was one of the poorest I have ever had. Poor selection. Not fresh and not replenished. Rooms are now tired. I was told I would be put in a refurbished room, but it was the same as the others. I booked this hotel twice in the same trip. I won’t be returning as the location is the only thing it has in its favour.

It was our second time staying at this location during our trip. Staff was welcoming and room was large and the area around the Hotel was great.

Good breakfast in the morning, close to Avenida Pualista and other busy streets for shopping and eating! Metro stations are pretty close by and there is a Carrefour within a block of the hotel.

Nice, spacious room. Vague and uncharming reception area. Maintenance could be improved, visible wear and tear in my room. The location was lovely.

Lobby and common areas look 4 Star; rooms are 2 stat at best. My room telephone never worked even though I made management aware of it upon check in. Electrical outlet in bathroom hung from the wall; room furniture looked old and scratched; shades on room lamps were dirty; bath towels were thin and worn; only one bath towel supplied on arrival.

Hotel is well located but check-in (and out) can be a long wait. Often just one person working, and each transaction is time consuming. Wifi is not reliable. Rooms can be cold. Nice buffet breakfast. Staff helpful when asked. Best thing is the great location a couple of blocks from Av. Paulista. A Carrefour market a block away. Gym across the street offers day passes.

Location
Great location. We overnited here on our way to our sons wedding. Lots of restaurants in the area The rooms are a bit dated. It would really be nice if hotels brought back baths. My husband has issues and a bath would definitely help him out. All in all, I would stay here again.

I've been staying in this hotel for a few years and this last time the room wasn't as clean, dusty, gaps between floor boards, closets smelled of mold, scratches and scuffs all over the floors, closets and walls, mattress was old and uncomfortable, bathroom could use a good scrub, shower was broken, had to call maintenance to fix right upon check in. Had to redo the key card almost daily. Requested to have my room changed the first night, front desk said it was impossible and never followed up during my 8 night stay. Housekeeping forgot to clean my room on the last day.

It will do for a long weekend.
The hotel was in the perfect location to walk around mostly. The furnishings were a little warn and the room was very plain/empty. No art. No side tables. No rug. No extra sitting chairs, and we had a suite! The breakfast was great though, and service was relatively responsive, but we had to call for more towels 3 times before they came.

Great choice for a solo gay traveller
Very comfortable hotel. I stayed in a suite, which was quite affordable at US exchange rates these days. Way more room than I needed. Everything was clean, and nicely kept. Breakfast was extensive and tasty. I especially liked that it was close to Rua Augusta, and the restaurants there, and still close to Paulista. One thing to note - my flight arrived at 5:00 am, and I knew I didn't want to wait to check in, so I booked a night in advance. However, when I arrived, they indicated that they would have let me pay a half day rate for an early check in, so you may want to consider that. I'll stay here again, if only to be part of the melee of Sao Paulo life.

The hotel was nice and clean. I had a suite which was nice but the bed on the side a sleep on sloped down but I was still able to sleep. Breakfast had a good selection but was lukewarm. The property was located in a convenient place to local shopping between two major malls. Despite the downs I would stay at this hotel again

More like a 2 star hotel.
Definitely not a 4 star hotel, except for the price! The room and furniture were really shabby, the breakfast wasn't good. It was more like a 2 star hotel. Not worth it and will not be going back.

Great room (apart from the smelly carpet). Breakfast was disappointing however. Room was a bit noisy (lift shaft and adjacent building works). Overall I liked this hotel.

When we checked in our room was not clean. A lot of dust. The rooms are outdated and not at all what you see on the website. Fortunately they gave us another from which was clean. But still the same outdated rooms. You could not see outside the windows. Have not been cleaned for a lot of time. Breakfast is great. Staff is very friendly.

O e of the worst experiences
Made a reservation for 2 nights. The first night arrived at 11pm and the couldn't gave me a decent room. I had to call asking for a hangenas the door did not close properly. After that I accepted a room because the door locked and I was so tired. Ok, the window was broken and all the air went through. The floor "cracked" all the time. That bathroom had insects. The shower was dirty. i left the room the following day at 9 and returned ay 7. The door did not open. The key did not work. Went downstairs and waited for more than 15 minutes. After that the receptionist just changed the key. No words. When I asked her for at least a "we are sorry" message she said she does not speak Spanish Awful from every side Not recommend en at all

Four star experience at center of the action
Beautifully appointed hotel. Awesome breakfast with hot and cold items including a cook to order omelette station on weekdays morning. Top notch bar and restaurant. Comfortable lobby. Walk out to two packed street of top notch restaurants, bars, and local boutique styled shopping. Exquisite ambience indie movie screening theaters galore with cafe and rainforest parks. One short block to Paulista Ave. where everything happens on both weekdays and weekends. Liberdale and its Asian restaurants and attraction are short uber ride away.

Great for a quick business trip.
The staff was very helpful, and gave excellent advice on the surrounding area, transportation, etc. The room was newly furnished and felt fresh and clean. The lobby was sparsely furnished, cavernous, and uninviting. The location in an older quarter of town had its challenges, e.g. entry access, sidewalks, driveway, etc.
