Booked this property for a stay on June 12th after booking the room I proceeded to go to the property to checkin upon arrival I received a text thanking me for booking the room and how they look forward to seeing me I showed up within 15 min of booking and when I got there there was nobody at the front desk or on the property to allow me access to my room so I had no choice but to go down the road and obtain another hotel room at a different property after falling asleep there I received a text message at 4:38am giving me an access code to the room at this time I had already been fast asleep in another room elsewhere. I have tried since to reach out to the property as well as Expedia for a refund on the room since I didn’t stay and hadn’t been able to get in contact via phone around July 8th I was in contact with someone at the property via Expedia messages who said they would reach out to me that day to discuss the situation I haven’t heard from them since I just want to have this matter resolved and taken care of very disappointed with this situation and hope others do not encounter the same situation as I have.

Great little motel walking distance to lots of good bars and restaurants and about a 20 min walk to the track. Super friendly staff, thank you Hollie! Beds are SUPER comfy!! Would stay again!

I really appreciateHollie's the new manager's efforts to communicate with me before I checked in as I was beginning to wonder about the place. I was so disappointed at the site and the conditions. Given the opportunity to TRY to cancel, was disappointed not to have access code sent to my CP. Tried numerous ways to cancel, no success. Told Mgr Ed, nice guy but told me to leave because of conditions, I did have info on my computer to cancel, but I dont travel with a computer.PLEASE cancel my charge on my AmEx card, If not I will report it as a SCAM. Site was somewhat under construction, the room I was assigned, was occupied at the time of arrival with a smoker present.Alternate room was not suitable as shown in pictures of site. Expedia should back off on this site. Good location downtown, not safe and a 'DUMP'

Toilet was clogged upon arrival. Heat did not work. 32 degrees outside. No thermostat, no instructions on how to work radiator. Dust on night stands. Smoke detector hanging from ceiling missing battery. Suspicious stain on lounge chair. Thin comforter.
