Top Sarmstorf Hotel Reviews

Hotel Am Hopfenmarkt

Hotel Am Hopfenmarkt

8/10 Good
"We stayed one night. Very clean. The room was a bit small, but was fine. Location was very good. Only issue was the check in. It was very complicated. My wife and I traveled a long way and were a bit tired. The hotel management did send me a message saying that the reception office was not located at the same location as the rooms. I had trouble finding the reception desk and then finding our room afterwards. Our room was not in the main building. They were individual entrances mixed within another establishment. Confusing when you donā€™t speak the native language and are tired from a long dayā€™s journey. The receptionist gave me a map of where the room was in the facility, but being tired and somewhat frazzled I had difficulty finding our room. They had 3 people working in the reception office. One of them should have guided us to our room. It would have taken about 2 minutes, but they handed me the keys and a map saying make a right turn and another right turn and your room is there. A good location with a funky layout. Overall a good place with that one complaint."
